Flash Pass: Go for the gold?

Without getting into the politics of reservation systems or whether the concept as a whole is worth it, I would like to know if anyone has any information, stories, or opinions about their experience of upgrading (or not) to Six Flags' Flash Pass Gold Service compared to the Standard Service.

Is there a specific park you want info on?

Wherever you go, you only need gold if the crowds are heavy and the weather is good.

I'm curious in general, but planning on SFoG for the weekend.

IMO spend the extra money for the gold you will get alot more rides in. I know theres a big difference at Gradv between gold and regular flashpasses and if you are a seasonpass holder you not paying addmission.
