FIXING THIS GAME!!!

This game is not so realistic. You get messages like this... Guests are now retarded and cannot find anywhere to eat. Guests have suddenly become retarded and cannot find anywhere to drink. Guests are now blind and cannot find the bathrooms. Even though they are all around them, the guests complain about stuffs that nobody does in real life at a theme park I never hear anyone in line at Disneyland after a ten minute wait saying that they've been queing for I'ts A Small World for ages. Guests even come into your park, after paying damn near 100 dollars admision, then almost right after, they want to go home... and they leave. Even in California theme parks, guests rarely break benches or trash cans. You have to be extremely powerful or overweight to do such things. In this game, inhumanly strong people do so with such ease and regularity. The biggest flaw is the throwing up one. I've been to theme parks on so many occassions, and haven't ever actually seen one person throw up. Not even at Magic Mountain. In this game people do it so often, like it is a normal thing that people do. The ride ratings are retarded. Forget speed, you are limited to how many inversions a ride can have before nobody will go on it. People in real life don't go to Magic Mountain, then look at rides and go: example - "X looks to intense for me". Most people go there knowing what to expect. Hardly anybody is actually scared to go on any ride, no matter how intense in real life. People even scared just get in line, and then get to the ride, then get in the ride vehicle, then are forced to go on it. Old folks maybe won't, and only certain people who have anxiety and fear of rollercosters. It seems to me that the majority of your guests would not even go to your Theme Park in the first place. If you put in the Scenario Editor for them to prefer certain rides, then they won't go on the other ones, so that doesn't help. The ratings are unrealistic too. You won't get harmed on a ride above 10.00 intensity, and people would still go on it in real life. Rides never explode in real life. They rarely crash too. This game acts like that it happens all the time when a ride gets to a certain age. People rarely die at theme parks. This game has a reaccurance of such a thing as station breaks failure. A ride can be going at 20 miles per hour, get to the station, but the brakes don't work for some retarded reason. But instead of going up the lift-hill again, it blows up like the Space Shuttle Challenger, and everybody on the ride is blown into oblivion. Then your guests are mostly just a bunch of ass-holes. They don't have hardly any patience, and look, even in this genration of people who are impatient and such and such... I go to theme parks on a regular basis and don't see many people complaining about such and such, or whining about the line. People go to have a good time, and most people that go there are just happy to be at an amusement park. In this game, most of these assholes might feel sick... or very sick... like that there is a plague going around. In real amusement parks, how often have you seen a sick person? In this game they are all over the place... including their version of Magic Mountain, so it has very little to do with how realistic your park is. They trick you that you buy the game, thinking that you can use your old saved games with it, and fancy them up and such. Then, you find out that you can't. Games are made more fun by pushing stuff to the limit, like in your roller-coaster designs. You can make a ride that everybody would want to ride in real life, but in this game you have to ruin it by bringing it down to the games standards of what people would actually ride in this game's fake world. If you had a ride going 100 miles per hour, with 20 inversions, and all kinds of chaos, there would still be people (especially teenagers) that would go on it, being like that the ride sounds so fun to them the crazier it is. As long as you have proper restraints, and bank the corners at certain speeds, there is very very little chance of injury on any roller coaster. People who fly jets and such survive going through way more without injury, but you couldn't simulate that kinds of stuff with a ride in this game, and still have people go on it. In real-life people would. So, if some braniac could make hacks and cheats for this game to make it better, that is a good thing for people who want to do more... push the envolope even for a theme-park... because you cannot with this game. You cannot push the envelope with rides in this game, and still have people ride them, not the envelope I know of, because I've been on rides that this game would not allow other people to go on... and I survived... and I've never heard of a ride blowing up. "This path is disgusting", but only because it has throw up all over it shouldn't even exist. I cannot say it enough, because people hardly throw up at all at amusement parks. I think most people who play this game for the first time want to go all out, and see realistic people from this planet react to their imagination running wild. Then you get bogged down by the unrealistic scientifics of this game. A world of asshole mutants, who are nearly blind, cannot read, can crush benches and trash cans, constantly whine and complain, are unrealisticly scared of certain rides, easily bored, and don't belong at a theme park in the first place. Chris Sawyer must be one such mutant, and patterned the people in the game after himself. Look at his pictureon the box cover! He looks like a ****head, on that ride with his triangle-top hair cut. He doesn't even look like he's having fun on the ride he's on, just thinking he's going to take over this world or something. I just want to take a baseball bat to his face, and send his open-mouthed grill flying back towards the planet he came here from. And the scenery he chose for this game. That ugly shit for space themery, and such and such. He should have used rip offs of real stuff, not stuff from his planet, so you can make theme parks with some recognizable stuff. Some stuff that looks like Star Wars would have been better. Stuff from the 80's too, like Transformers, because almost all of mine have Transformers Themed Rides. Shit, I've got Trypticon's Track Of Terror, Galvatron's Cannon, Unicron - The Ride, Springer's Furious Assault. Fun stuff like that. He-Man and GIJOE, Voltron, all that... real toys that are fun stuffs. He should have made rip-off icons to go with that, because those would be the best type of theme-parks... not some place called Happy Land, where the names of the rides are themed like... Happy Landings or Creepy Crawlers. My 80's based Theme Parks in real-life would put every other one out of business, because the 80's were all about fun and today is all about trying to be cool... but you're not. Stuff now is stale and boring, like most of the objects and "themery" created for this game.

Paragraphs, no one is going to read this cuase looking at all jumbled together withh give them a headache.

Dude, lay off it. If you don't like the game, don't play it. There's tons of things we would like to see done with RCT, but we take the game as is, and have fun with what it.

Is it May yet??

Does it bothers you that much? So far I'm very happy with the game.

Man it took longer to read that than it did to finish my first rct 2 park, haha. Seriously we all have our gripes. When Loopy Landscapes came out I was so dissapointed I let loose on the RRC. Basically get what you can out of it and hope for things you'd like in the add-ons.

I'm going to say something that a lot of people say around here: You have to have thicker skin.

You can't let something as little as a computer game which was purely made to allow you to have fun, make you this upset. I mean - Jeesh! Does writing an entire hatred novel really do anything about it? Plus the game didn't intentionally harm you. If you dislike the game this much, then don't play it! There's no need to b*tch about it on here for one very very long paragraph.

Man, my eyes hurt from reading that huge non-paragraph! RCT2 rocks! I love the game for what it is and not for what you want it to be. So what if all the things you nagged about above happen in the game. It's fun to watch those things happen. So what if it's not realastic for you. Too Bad. Life goes on. Deal with it. Note to self : Must not feed the trolls.

It's a GAME. If you don't like it, don't play, simple as that.

As a game, a lot of concessions HAD to be made in terms of "realism". For one thing, the time scale is totally off, of necessity -- a few minutes of your time is a few DAYS by the game's calendar, but if all the rides and peeps went at that speed you wouldn't see them. So, there's a ton of time fudging going on. Does it detract from the game? In most people's opinion, obviously not.
