I went to Cedar Point for the first time with my family and my 2 Aunts this past weekend, the 22 and 23 and I had a blast. We stayed at the Breaker's Express which is a nice hotel. Cedar Point has to be my favorite park I have been to so far - the atmosphere, the smells, the sounds - everything about it was so good and I didn't want to leave. All the employee's are also very nice. I got 3 rides on Millennium Force and I couldn't get enough of it. The DJ's are great and make a fun atmosphere while waiting on line.
Not only do they have good rides and good food, but they have pretty good shows. We saw the diving show, Snoopy Rocks on Ice - they do the Pamchinco! (If you have ever seen the movie The Cutting Edge you know what I am talking about) and we also saw America Rocks while we ate which was also pretty good. I ended my trip with a night ride on MF Sunday and got off right as the Lazer Show began.
While waiting on line for Mantis, Millennium Force got stuck for about a little over an hour and then it started to slowly creep up towards the top until it finally made it over. Everyone in the area was watching and as the ride past by right before the second tunnel everyone on MF started screaming and waving at everyone who was watching - it was great. The ride re-opened later that night... we watched it from a restaurant called Damon's and if you go out along the pier/boardwalk you can see the beautiful skyline of Cedar Point - it reminded me of "Walley World"(with all the rides sticking out every which way) when we first pulled in.
I saw you Jeff on the Wicked Twister line on Saturday morning(June 22nd)... you were right behind us with a Montu shirt. I was the person with the sideburns wearing a light blue Quicksilver shirt and a black Mets hat. I was going to say something but I hesitated :(
Speaking of Wicked Twister, on Sunday me and my brother were right about to get on when the unloaded the train in front of us because of technical difficulties. As we waited some mantinence guys came up with a can of "DW40" and a rag. He got up on his ladder and began to spray and wipe around. It was pretty funny and we had a little inside joke for the rest of the time. Well the "DW40" did the trick because it opened up and we got on for one last time. I have to say that I really enjoyed Wicked Twister too.
Anyways, Im not going to rate any of the coasters/rides because evey ride is fun in my opinion and I just had a flat out great time and I can't wait to go back someday :)

84 coasters in Track Record!! Hypersonic XLC # 100 in July. Waiting for the 305 foot drop tower in 2003. Thank you PKD.
Wish it had been opened today. Janice Withrow said they are having electrical problems. It possibly opened later, as I saw them pulling out the water dummies used for testing, but we left the park around 6 pm.
Glad you had a great time Ghetto!

I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead
Originally formulated as a rust proofer, WD-40 was designed to displace water in and on the surface of metallic objects. The theory was that displacing the water would reduce oxidization and rust.
Hence (WD) stands for Water Displacement.
Where did the 40 come from? Well, legend has it that the chemical mixture in that can was the 40th attempt at finding the right mixture. On the 40th try they found something that worked!
Well, it at least worked as a great lubricant!
Useless knowledge from Dimension X..
