First Trip to Cedar Point

I got there monday night and decided to go in. I don't re-call the order in which we did all the rides so i'll just say some stuff about each one.

Corkscrew-o.k. little ride. 1 ride

Gemini-very smooth lots of air-time, great old ride! 2 rides

Blue Streak- Great old ride with lots of air-time. 1 ride. It seems like older rides provide lots of air-time.

Mean Streak- Nice that its long, but its kinda boring. I don't like the squeeling of the wheels or the trims which slow it down. 2 rides.

Disaster Transport- This ride made no sense at all, the theming was a little wack. Everybody didn't like the ride, except for me. Te ride itself,I thought was pretty fun. 1 ride

Millennium Force- Without a doubt the best rollercoaster I have ever been on. I love the air-time, smootheness, height, the lift. There isn't one bad thing about this ride except the line. 5 rides.

MagnumXL200- Very cool ride, lots of air-time. I liked the trains, they were a bit rough towards the back of the trains and smoother towards the front. 6 rides.

TopThrillDragster-Grrrrrr, me and 5 other dedicated rollercoaster fans waited 13 1/2 hours from 9 in the mornin to 10:30 at night only to have the ride close on us. The mechanics kept telling us it would open that evening, and it did start testing. They launched some staff over, it fell back a few times, and made it over. Suddenly they just stopped all testing and called the ride closed. During the day, we sent runners to get food and drinks. We bought a Cedarpoint-opoly game. We made chants and met a lot of people in the park, including some staff. People actually came back to check on us during parts of the day. They thought we were crazy for waiting that long. The line was pretty fun, but the ride looked evan better. When they closed the ride we wouldn't leave. A few security guards kinda kicked us out of that area. We immediately went to guest services to complain. I'll be sending a complaint sheet today. While we were in the office we managed to get some passes to go directly to the front of millennium force, which was just not enough. Fun wate. 1 wate

Iron Dragon-My first of this kind. was a slow ride but fun. 1 ride

Raptor-Barf this was fun and was the rollercoasters with the most inversions that I have been on. During the helix I lost feeling in both of my legs, it pulls to many G's. 1 ride

Mantis- same as raptor, pulls to may G's. I didn't really like this ride to much. It was very painful, and had a long line. 1 ride

Wicked Twister-Incredible, I loved this ride, I wish I had one back in Virginia. 2 rides.

Cedar Creek mine ride-the good old days, it was a nice old ride over the water. 1 ride

During the trip I met a few new people, Rollercoaster Clint, Matt, and Kevin, they were all great guys, and we had a lot of fun.

We went on the antique cars, cable carts, bumber cars, swings, which were fun.

My overall trip was incredible. I would definately recomend this park to everybody. I wish I was still there. 10 thumbs up Cedar Point!

I was in the same line you guys were. Were you waiting with Clint from the Cedar Point Crew?

Riding the Bull anywhere but the back is merely going for a walk.

TTD is a great ride, but not worth 13 1/2 hours. You can see the top hat from just about anywhere in the park. Enjoy the rest of the park while keeping an eye on the top hat. When they start testing, then head on over.

I actually lucked out two of the three times that I was able to catch a ride. I was in line for Magnum when they started testing, so I just ran over after riding Magnum and jumped in line.

Don't waste a whole day on a ride that may not open.

I regret to inform you that Cedar Point's newest roller coaster, Top Thrill Dragster will not be operational today, or tomorrow or probably any day that you decide to visit our park. Please accept our apologies.

I did what you said the second day I was there, and I got 3 rides on it.

Youve gotta be absolutly insane to wait that long, when you could've easily rode other things in the meantime and got to Dragster when you saw it running. Glad you had fun though.

Stljason, either insane as you said or just plain stupid. NO RIDE is worth more than 2 hours of wait time. So let me get this straight, when the ride closed down, thus shutting the line down, why did you object to security? That was another dumb move which I don't see warranting a trip to PR. But I guess when you are one of those enthusiasts that can't seem to get your way, I guess its ok, right?

I am not who you think I am.

We weren't going down, we came just to ride, it so its worth any wate. Its the tallest and fasted what do u expect?
