First trip to Carowinds!

So, Carowinds was a blast.

I will do a full report on the appropriate page, but Nighthawk was down the entire time I was there, and they shut down Intimidator while I was in line for it, and it never opened back up because of high winds.

Fury and Copperhead were both amazing and I really enjoyed Afterburn as well.

Thankfully, I got to ride everything else at least once.

Also, on a positive note, my 9-year-old daughter is going to be a coaster nut like me as well. She rode her first upside-down coaster in Carolina Cyclone and loved it so much, she rode it 5 more times!!!

In all seriousness, that's awesome about your daughter. My son started riding everything with me at age 9 also, it was great. My daughter, on the other hand, is not fond of them, even though I was finally able to talk her into riding Candymonium last year at age 10.

Yeah, my son is 12 and is not into them yet either.

It bothers him that he is not into it, but he can't make himself try it either.

I told him that there was no rush, I was about 12 when I started as well.
