First Time

Play Tsugaru and you'll know. ;)
It's pretty much when two 16th's come right after each other with rest afterwards.

It's best stepped by jumping and landing with one foot first and then the other (like a galloping horse) because there isn't really time to shift weight between your feet.

Look at the very top of the fourth column for two gallops.

Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

Okay I think I've finally found a good way to teach galloping. Think for a second that your index and middle fingers are your feet. Try to make them jump. Since your middle finger is longer than the index, it hits the ground first, followed by your index finger. This should produce a quick "da-da" noise. Try this with your feet a couple times to get the hang of it. Also you might have to adjust it to the beat of the song but that's not hard at all. The hardest part is explaining it!

**If your index and middle fingers are the same length... I give up. ;)**

It's cross overs and galloping that are still holding me back. That and I've simply been lazy.

BUT...I'm back on the pads again (because I'm trying to drop the 8 pounds I gained on my Coaster Odyssey) and discovered how quickly it comes back.

I went back to the DDRMAX mix until I've got my dancing legs back. Although I suspect my son is planning to take the PS2, pads and DDRMAX2 off to college with him. Looks like mom is going to have to buy some new equipment.

I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead
