first slc and boomerang in north america?

I think the first 3 slc's in north america were in 95

hangman,mind eraser(sfa),and the nor' easter.

I think the first boomerang was tidal wave at trimpers rides(ocen city,md) in 84.

What about "The Bat" at Canada's Wonderland? That's pretty old, and that is a Vekoma Boomerang.

Weren't there 5 SLC's built in 95? the first of which was SFA's mind eraser as well as great nor' easter @ Moreys pier.I'm not sure about T2 and Hangman though.

First Boomerang in North America: Boomerang at La Ronde. Number 1 (according to serial numbers) is Boomerang at SF Mexico and number 2 is Boomerang at Bellewaerde in Belgium. The La Ronde one opened in 1984 and is number 3.

im not sure about the Boomerang, although ive heard several times that it is indeed Sea Serpant at Moreys Piers in NJ....as far as MindEraser at SFA, that opened in 1994....that i am POSITIVE of...hopefully some old school Adventure World fans can back me up on that :)

so i guess im saying that i think Mind Eraser was Vekomas first SLC.....thats my story and im stickin to it!!!! ;)

I do know that the Sea Serpent @ Morey's Piers was the first vekoma boomerang (1984) in the US, but as far as SLC's go...

I know that Hangman @Opryland opened on 5/1/95, and Mind Eraser at Adventure World (now SFA) opened on 5/20/95. But for T2 (which I thought was the first) and Great Nor'Easter, all I know is they opened in '95.

I wrote to vekoma a few years ago and they sent back a brochure of all their rides, and I thought it said T2 was the first SLC.

Just to let you know dawgbyte, the Bat opened in '87

Yeah, T2 was the prototype SLC, then they built the others. And yes, being an old school Adventue World fan, I am sure Mind Eraser opened in '95. I remember when it was the most popular ride in the park.

no it wasnt, the prototype SLC was "El Condor" @ Six Flags Holland, which opened in 1994...

The first Boomerang was in Europe. #2 was at LaRonde. #3 was at Morey's Piers.

The first SLC was also in Europe. #2 opened in Kentucky Kingdom. 2 weeks later #3 opened at Morey's Piers.

Isn't the Hangman now Kong at SFMW?
