First SF:WoA Fall Trip... any info?

Being that I get in free, I usually go out to Geauga Lake at least once a year... this year I haven't gotten a chance to go, but I'd like to some weekend late this month, or early October. 

My questions are these:

Are the crowds heavy on these weekends?

Are all of the rides usually open? (barring breakdowns, of course.)

Are there any special events (octoberfest, halloween stuff, etc.) going on on any of these weekends that would spike attendance?
