I am going to SFMM for the first time in January. How are the crowds like on a Friday in January(Fri, Jan. 3)? Are the lines long?
I want to ride X, Goliath, Riddler's Revenge, Psyclone, S:TE, Ninja, Colossus, Flashback, Deja Vu, Revolution Viper, and Gold Rusher. I have seen a map of the layout and i am not sure where the ride entrances are. I don't really want to run across the park back and forth, so what is a good order to ride the rides so I don't run all across the park!? Also, any other advice is greatly appreciated!

You must be this dumb to ride Viper. -SFGAdv.
As for the pattern, take ApolloAndy's advise for the first 3 rides X, DV, Superman and get the slowest moving lines out of the way first. After that go this way... Ninja, (down the hill towards roaring rapids) to Psyclone. From there follow the circle to Goldrusher, Riddler, Batman, Colossus, Goliath, Flashback, Revolution then Viper. It makes for just a bit of backtracking, but it's the pattern I would use.

Cut Flashback off your list. The last time someone rode Flashback was open was in April (unless it just opened by chance). Its more SBNO than open for bussiness. There are rumors it would open in the winter, but they might be false. Riddlers revenge should be out of rehab by the time you get there.
Keep in mind you're going on a day most of the metropolitan area school kids have vacation. Crowds might be a problem, but good thing you're not going on saturday.
I for one think crowds will be non-existant for you. I went on the last Friday of Xmas vacation last year and the park was dead.
I'd second Andy's suggestion of X and Deja first, but I would then hit Psyclone while I'm there and work my way around to the front of the park, doing Gold Rusher, Riddler, Batman, Colossus, Goliath, Canyon Blaster, Log Jammer, Revolution, and Viper. Then, head up the hill for Superman. Ninja is up there as well, but is very iffy this time of the year as it does not run in cold weather.
Have fun, and make sure you go to X first...give them at least an hour to get it going, and ride in the front seat!

Riddlers Revenge is still down for rehab. I was there last weekend. Flashback is still closed, as stated earlier. Ninja was the worst turnover, with one train, but Superman was closed for 45 minutes, and of course, everyone stopped to take a ride. I had less than 10 minutes wait on everything else, and Viper, Revolution, anfd Goliath were walk ons.

X, Riddler's, Goliath, Viper, Colossus (I am not sure, though), and one other. Sorry, I have only been to the park once.
