First Pemnanent SBNO B&M

Well, it looks like Gambit, a mirrored Batman: TR in Japan is B&M's first permanant SBNO coaster. Here's the link.

I hope someone buys it and opens it.

I bet it will go rather quickly if put up for sale. That ain't Windjammer or Drachen Fire!

Sorry. I'm not anti-arrow, it's just no one wanted them it would seem. Hurts me too it's not still here. But, pro or anti-B&M, pro or anti-arrow, those B&M Batmans are real crowd pleasers and a used one won't stay on the market for long.

And according to this at rcdb, that is the only coaster in the park.

It used to be a park, then the park went bust. It was SBNO then. The place reopened as a shopping center, but they kept the coaster. I guess it didn't make enough money. This is the second time it's been SBNO. I'm sure it will get a happy home. I'd put it in my backyard!

Glad I didn't try to get on it when I was there. Would have been pretty disappointed.

TOGO!
I still don't see why this is news. It's not like the coaster is SBNO due to B&M.

Not that I am counting on it, but I would love to see it replace Mind Eraser at SFNE. I am sure that sentiment is the same with others whose home park has an SLC rather than a B:TR clone.

BrandonR,

Personally, I think it is news because this hasn't happened before and it is interesting. I have never even heard of this coaster.

If you don't like a topic you don't have to post to add your 2 cents.

It's not news, it's a forum topic. If people find discussing it to be interesting, what's it hurting?

I remember that when you purchased a certain value of products you could redeam your stub and get a free ride on Gambit. Gambit was a litte bumpy though, one of onlytwo B&Ms that I've had head banging on.

NOTE-If it's being run by Matoppia, them it that's probably why it gave a rough ride. Don't think that a commercial buisness has that many skills in the amusement industry.

Astroworld needs to sale Serial Thriller and buy that ride with the money from Serial Thriller.
I'm not sure you get enough for a SLC to buy a used B&M. You might be able to get 50 cents, maybe 75 on a good day:)
