2 days ago I rode the Screamin California, Materhorn, Space Mountian, and Mountian Railroad. I had to get a jump start on the season. I am trying for 30 new (to me) coasters for the year.

My first park visit of the season will be Oaks Park in Portland, OR. I'll be there for five days (Feb. 18-22) and the park won't even be open for business (except possibly the rink).

I think I'll most likely get to PKD first (on opening day 3-23) in which case I guess Volcano will be first (I hate waiting for this ride).
I'll hit Ricochet sometime that day.

However, I am considering taking advantage of BGW's "EZ Pay" option on their "Platinum" pass. Since I am going to SWT this year and its conceivable that I could go to BGW 4 or 5 times over the next two years the pass seems worth it. Especially since I dont have to drop all the loot at once AND I didnt even figure in the free parking yet...If I indeed do this, then BGW will be my first park on their "Passholders Only" day St. Patty's Day March 17. And I guess my 1st coaster would be Big Bad Wolf (trying to 'beat the crowds' :))

I plan on going to Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom and Kings Island in March. I am hoping for Americana in April. Wyandot Lake in May. Paramounts Kings Dominiam in July and HersheyPark in August.

If time allows I will also visit either Holiday World or Indiana Beach again.

My first park was BGT, and the first coaster was Montu.  I was going up the lift hill on New Year's Eve, and when I was almost to the top they came over the speaker and said "According to our clock, it is now 2002!"
