First Park

Hello. I was just playing RCT again and I remembered about my first park for some reason. I played it for the first time at my friends grandma's house and we didn't go to bed for 3 days. Well back to the story, the first park we played was Evergreen Gardens. We named all the rides poop_____ whatever. It was the best time I ever played RCT because everything was new. No trainers or patches were out. Nothing. It was the best time I ever played the game. What was your first park like and do you think trainers made you less original than you were back then?

I remember when my husband and I first got it -- toward the holidays of '99. We played together for hours and hours, not getting to bed until 3-4am for several nights. We started with Forest Frontiers and just kept working through. I remember the best thing we learned: use queue lines! We didn't use them at first, thinking that more people would go on the rides if there was no line to wait in. Whoops! Still a great game, even after so many months and parks, if you ask me. Incidentally, we never have used trainers (never even downloaded any) and never will, but at times we do get a bit stale -- always naming rides the same or using the same strategy.

The scary think is that I didn't know what I was doing and was achieving coasters with 8+ excitement ratings!

The first park I made was called Coaster World USA. It had every kind of coaster you could think of.

I also played evergrenn gardens i had 18 coasters tons of rides it was sweet called it coaster heaven.

I used Forest Frontiers and made a coaster that had one drop, was two minutes long and had an excitement rating of 1 something. I had lots of fun killing people and hiring tons of elephants to walk around my park.
