First Drop Magazine Worth It?

I am writing down some stuff for my birthday and I am getting some different coaster things. I am joining ACE and subscribing to Amusement Today so I am gonna get those magazines. I was wondering though if First Drop was really worth joining the European Coaster Club. That is an extra $41. If anyone could tell me what this magazine was like and whether it was worth it, that would be great.

First Drop is easily the most detailed roller coaster publication I have read. I joined in 1997 and haven't read a bad issue yet.

ACE's Roller Coaster magazine is another great magazine with some amazing pictures and great articles. Amusement Today is also good but deals a bit more with the industy side of the business other than the enthusiastic side. However, with the three you have asked about, I find them to be the best I have ridden.

I think I will cancel my Cbuzz membership and get a subscription to First Drop. Sound good? I know that Amusement Today isn;t as geared towards enthusiasts as others but is it good still?

Where can you order First Drop?

You can go to coasterclub.org and print out an order form. You can also view some of the covers for first drop, if you'd like while you're there. I highly encourge you to join the ECC and get first drop. In my opinion, it's the best coaster related magazine out there. If there was only one magazine I could choose it would be first drop.

It's worth every bit of the $41.

First Drop is absolutely fantastic! I joined the ECC last year and I've just renewed my membership. It really is worth the money.
