Just curious to see ow may people went to parks for the grand opening of coasters. What were the lines like?
So far I was at the grand opening to the public on Twister at Knoebels 3rd train out. After we got off the wait was around 2 hours.
Went to Hershey this year for night rides on the Lightning Racer opening day (night). The lines were actually low since we got there after a bad thunderstorm about 10 minute wait.

Parks hit for 2000!
PKD,BGW,DP,HP,PKI,HW,SFKK,SFA,SFNE,LC,GE,QP,Camden,Lakemont,Knoebels, SFO,CP,
We don't even want to go into the Millennium Force lines!
While I enjoy coasters alot I personally dont find it to serious to go on opening day for a new coaster. I can wait until the hoopla has calmed down a bit.

DOWN WITH TRIM BRAKES!
I went to SFO on Opening night. Got the sixth train on BKF. Got the 4th on Villain. Low lines, and great crews made riding great that night
