Superman: Ride of Steel @ SFA. That first drop took me by surprise after such a long gap of no riding.

Six Flags America? No, no! My name means "Sarcasm-For-All"
Shivering Timbers. Coincidently, it was my first time on it. I didnt think there was a thing as perfection, but that ride is as good as it gets, IMO.

My first ride this year was Predator at SFDL :)
Apollo's Chariot at BGW at the end of April. A decent way to start!
Superman Ride of Steel at SFDL.

First ride this season, Myrtle Beach Hurricane, and I still have the marks where that troll of a ride op torqued my lap bar down to about three sizes too small for even my skinniness(note to self: next time I want to ride a local coaster it will be the Swamp Fox, they act like they want me there at Family Kingdom, unlike those people I've had to have words with over stupid things like tightening my lap bar at the Pavilion).
NITRO at SFGAdv....excellent start!
Well, I went to SCBB and rode the Giant Dipper for a few hours in January, so that technically is the first coaster I rode this season. As for seasonal parks, I rode Medusa at SFMW on 3/17 so that's the first seasonal coaster I rode. :)
My first coaster ride this year was a 45 minute ride on Mindbender at SFNE... Someone on the train ahead of mine was stuck in their restraints... Although, I had a nice view of the ground! Woulda been a bit more exciting if there was grass growing there.
Mine was Mind Eraser at SFWoA... lol!

Nitro at Great Adventure...it was a perfect beginning to a perfect day
Magnum XL 200 on opening day. In fact I was on the very first train(of the day and of 2001) in the ejection seat.

My first ride this season was on what I believe to be the most perfectly engineered steel coaster that I have ridden to date: Kraken @ SWF. Though not my favorite coaster of all time, that ride was just beautiful.

My first coaster of the season was SOB to see if they tamed it or not. I would have gotten multiple rides, but it took me over an hour (after the pic was taken) to get my pass. I ended up grabbing one that looked like me (goldpasses for PKI do not have names on them... at least the first bunch) and had to go back after the park closed and grabbed the right one! Big mess!
