First 100 Ft. Coaster

Alright:
First off: Tower of Terror @ Dreamland opened before S:TE, thus nabbing the 300' shuttle mark.

Seeing as how S:TE may not even break 300' anymore, that's a different story entirely.

1914: Rutschebanen, Tivoli Gardens: 100ft tall.
This coaster has a brakeman. Thus, it may not eb what you're thinking. I also know little about its operating history, such as if it opened at this height.

First thing I've been able to track with a 100' height:

Woodcliffe Blue Streak in 1928, with a height of 127' and a drop of 140'. The 140' drop was the *fourth* drop and occured in a ravine. This mark wouldn't be surpassed until Montezuma's Revenge in 1978.

Other candidates:
1915: Trip Thru the Clouds, Riverview Park, Detroit 90+ ft

1917: Giant Coaster, Paragon Park (98'/88')
This one's been remodeled a few times in its day, and may have opened at 100'.
-------

The first surviving, continually operating traditional coaster over 100' -- Montana Rusa @ Chapultepec Park.

The first 100' drop on a continually operating, full-circuit coaster: Colossus @ SFMM at 115'. Its records would be surpassed 21 *hours* later Gemini debuted at Cedar Point at 4" taller [yes, 4 *inches* and 3' longer in drop]

The Loch Ness Monster also opened in '78 and it has a first drop of 114.2 ft. Didn't it open before Colossus? If so it held the record breifly too. It might have opened fairly late though, but I thought it held some sort of record for a while too. It also has a 130' lift, but only stands 100 feet above the ground.
