I was just reading this when here on our noon news there was a story about wildfires raging out of control in Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. There were shots of one of those big hillside cabin/condo resorts with many structures engulfed in flames (Bear Ridge Resort?)
Just awful. Is it still very dry there? We've had nothing but rain recently.
The fire "at" DW has been extinguished, everything at the park is fine. The new fire in the PF area is several miles away, on Wears Valley Rd.
The firefighters sprinted to the park in record time, thank goodness. ;-)

I hope you don't MINE but this fire was a MYSTERY.
I hope the AFTERBURN doesn't do any damage to the park.
I think this fire was BEAST-ly and scarey.
