A powerful fire broke out at Liseberg's Oceana water park on Monday, engulfing outdoor water slides and related facilities that were under construction, eyewitnesses and rescue services said.
Read more from Reuters and see video from The BBC.
I can't believe the way that tornado slide burned. I didn't think those were that flammable, but I couldn't be more wrong.

Fire claims yet another area in an amusement park, and it makes me sick when this happens. It just seems as if it’s the biggest cause of destruction of parks. Well, besides condos.
Liseberg sure has had its share of horrible events over the years, maybe more than they deserve.
Once fiberglass catches fire, it burns with a ferocity that is difficult to put out. It's essentially a chemical fire.
I saw a video online (cine 4k?) that precedes the BBC video here, there was some kind of explosion it looked like that engulfed all of this. Wondering what could cause this. I've never seen a waterpark burn like this.
Hi
There was some speculation on Reddit that it might have had more to do with fumes (perhaps from the adhesive or other construction materials) that caused the initial explosion that you can see in the videos. I'm only an amateur explosives evidence expert, but it looks more like a gas igniting than fiberglass.
There was quite a bit about the plans for the water park in this interview shared by the European Coaster Club.

That was quite an impressive explosion. So sad to read that a worker is missing. From the look of that fire, however, I'm surprised there weren't more injuries or missing people.

Note from the CEO there, confirming the missing worker died.
Nothing to see here. Move along.
