The addition of finger scanning technology at the entrances of Walt Disney World theme parks for all visitors has caused concern among privacy advocates. Tourists visiting Disney theme parks in Central Florida must now provide their index and middle fingers to be scanned before entering the front gates.

As a matter of opinion, I think I disagree with not allowing resale. I just think if you pay for 14 days, it is none of Disney's business who uses the 14 days. It seems to me they are really trying to get you to overbuy. I can only assume there is a profit to be made in unused tickets by Disney themselves. Would they ever consider offering a refund of unused days so as to thwart the resale market? I wonder why not?
I understand the counterargument and may even agree on a different day. But right now, it just seems crazy that Disney goes to such efforts to assure one-user per ticket. I would rather them increase their pricing than add these types of invasions...
