Finally Rode Patriot WoW

I rode Patriot twice this Saturday. Once on both trains. Both Trains seemed really smooth and enjoyable to me but there are a one subtle difference that I wasn't fimiliar with.

When I first got to the Park we pretty much went straight to Patriot.(my nephew had to stop at bamboozler) They were only running one train and I barely fit in the harness I had to pull down real tight and the operator had the fasten my strap for me. That was train 1 row 4.

Then before we left we stopped at Patriot for one more ride and we got train 2 row 4. I had enough room between me and my harness to fit my fist in there.

Did I really loose the much weight walking around the park for a few hours or did they make them a little bit different on purpose?

The belts on the train are not allways the same length, and 1 inch can make a huge difference.

2022 Trips: WDW, Sea World San Diego & Orlando, CP, KI, BGW, Bay Beach, Canobie Lake, Universal Orlando

They have certain seats that will accomodate larger sized guests on each train. Glad you enjoyed the ride and hopefully you will be able to get back again soon. I would imagine that the crowds were rather light considering the weather.

Good to know, I was just going to ask about the big boy seats.

Do they have that posted or is it like other B & M's that it is like row 5 is the big boy row?

Seems like I remember that there are big boys seats in rows 4 AND 5 on Patriot. I thought I heard that mention at Media Day.

Fever I really enjoy the Simpsons. It's just a shame that I am starting to LOOK like Homer.
Yes I believe it is 4 and 5. You can always ask the attendant at the top of the stairs of the queue line as well as I'm sure she gets asked that a lot.

I rode train one row 4 and I almost didn't fit so it isn't 4 the row in both trains just train 2. I wish I could be there for Coaster Mayhem but I'm not a member of a coaster club. After ridding Patriot dudring the day and enjoying it so much I would love to ride it at night. I'll be back up on June 11th to ride again for a Friends Birthday.

Has anyone else saw the shirts that say "I do it Inverted" with the Patriot logo in the background? My cousin saw it but I must of missed it.

Sry Swoosh for the typos. *** Edited 5/2/2006 9:09:34 PM UTC by TonyBlackjack***

^You could join CoasterBuzz club and you would BE in a club.

Also do us a favor and spell check that last post. Hard to decipher in a few spots. :)

Good to hear about the big boy seats, I shouldn't have a problem then with them.

Yes it is great to have the Big Boy seats. I just wish I would have known I was going to be making so many trips down there this year so I could of saved money by getting a season pass.
