Final NBC-Vivendi deal expected by end of the week

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

NBC is near the finish line in its negotiations to merge with Vivendi Universal Entertainment and create a new entertainment and media giant called NBC Universal. A final agreement is expected to be announced by the end of this week. The top leaders from General Electric, NBC and Paris-based Vivendi Universal are gathering here this week to put the finishing touches on NBC's roughly $14 billion acquisition, which would create the world's sixth-largest media company.

What time does the water show start?

No doubt. I would love to know what the budget is for that show. They do amazing things with those apartments.

I have not broken down and had my back waxed yet but I did trim my chest hair. The wife said it made a difference. Itched like hell for a couple of days though. She said it was vindication for all the shaving she has to do!

In any event, I will be interested to see if NBC decides to hang on to the parks or dump them.

I don't know the budget, but Entertainment Weekly reported that the Fab 5 make $3,000/episode (don't know if that's for the gaggle of them, or per queen).

I'd love to have a makeover. Unfortunately, I'm gay! D'oh!

Yeah, they want a raise which they most certainly deserve.

I doubt there will ever be a "Straight Eye for the Queer Guy."

For being on Bravo's highest rated show ever, I certainly think they deserve a little more cash.

Heh, we were just joking about this at lunch today. "No, dude, stiffen that wrist! Grab a beer! Buy an XBox!"

(Yes, I realize that none of the above actually applies, but with the way the guys on the original show ham it up...)

Why does she have to shave? I bet she chooses to.

Well Vernon,

American society still frowns upon women that don't shave their legs. Does she HAVE to shave them? Well no, not literally.

I have a big problem with society setting standards. Each individual should take and make their lives there own. I know it is hard, but nothing we can do about it. I want to be an accountant, and have blonde hair. Seeing how my naturally hair color is black, and usually black people don't have blond hair. I can't do that, and have a job.
