Hi, I'm new here but I have been checking out this site for the latest news for a couple of months now. I just return from a trip to Six Flags Ohio and decided to finally post something. A lot of people have put the park down here so I was a little worried about going, but it turned out to be a great trip and park, I was very impressed with it. All rides were running!
But my questions are with their new ferry system, we went in line for it about 5pm and their was a long, long line for it. The people who ran it wasn't even filling up all the seats so we had to wait two ferry trips before we even got on. And then they barely had anyone on the ferry we got on despite the long line for it still? Then when it was docking on the other side, the captain crashed the ferry in to the dock, and it was a good hit, then it took 10 minutes before he could line up the boat with the dock. I hope they get the hang of it soon, has anyone else seen this kind of problem there with the ferry?
Sounds like they need some of the Tom Sawyer Island workers out there to help park it.
Was it the new 250 passenger one, or the old 10 people ones?
It will take them a little while to get the hang of it, I am sure by the end of the season they will have it running smoothly.
Glad to see someone had a good time, since most people here don't go there with an open mind. Glad you had fun and didn't worry about the petty problems to make yourself have a bad day.

Yes it was the new 250 passenger one. I thought i heard they were suppose to be two of them running but there was only one?
kurlyone, the second ferry is there. They are assembling it on the wildlife side.
G-Money, Thanks I thought i heard there was to be two, I did not see this when i was there. Thanks!
The pilots of the boats will need a little time to get the hang of it. The drivers down at Universal Orlando are great. From Hard Rock Hotel to Citywalk, and they dock them perfect! They are smaller boats though.

The 2nd boat isn't inspected yet and the pier on the thrill side isn't done yet. I was also disappointed to not see the boats filled. We could of had at least 20 more people on those boats.
What I'd like to know is why wait for a boat when you could've walked??????
Wow,is it me or do some of you peeps always find something to ***** about?????
when i was there last wendsday night they were hauling the ferry down that road near superman there were about 10 police cars blocking the road. while leavin it was siting in the sea world lot. the next day we were there it was siting in the water near the sea world dock
I heard that two of the people hired to drive the ferry's (they must have a special boaters license) quit because they felt Six Flags was not operating them properly.
If that's true it is a little scary. Try to boardwalk!
