Fellow CB'ers get hitched at CP

I'd like to send a big CONGRATULATIONS out to fellow CB'ers (and GTTPers) Catherine (Catherine) and Coasterkingoftheworld (Joey) who got married at CP this past Friday :)

Although I was unable to attend (Ohio State Fair equates to TONS of horse shows for me) I was with them in spirit :) May their lives together be filled with an ever lasting love. These are 2 awesome people and CB'ers. I'm honored to have them as part of my "CP buds" list. I love you guys! :)

I do believe they are currently on an amusement park honeymoon. Go figure THAT one! ;)

ps-I have dibs on the next wedding at CP!!

That is SO cool. Hey look Jeff, you helped start a family! Maybe they'll name their kid Jeff. :-) Hey, maybe I'll meet my soulmate on this site.

Wow, that is sooo cool! I hope their lives go well in the future and I pray that they will have a safe and fun honeymoon coaster trip!!!!

I didn't even know Catherine wasn't married, but congratulations to her and Joey and it sounds like it was a pretty exciting decision to make! She's always had something interesting to say here at the Buzz and I like to see a lot of females participate since they bring a whole new side to the party! I wish one day I could get married on a coaster or at a park and I've been happy to see a lot of that lately (like with The Legend and Giant Dipper). Good luck guys and have an excellent honeymoon!

I can't wait to hear what happened!

I think that weddings and honeymoons should stay out of amusement parks, Don't get me wrong that I love them, but if we were on a honeymoon I would rather spend my time just with that person, maybe if there was a parkt here, but not a big trip. Congradulations though, may your lives be filled with funs and many coasters.

Thanks Raptor Jo! We are currently on our honeymoon now in Hershey PA. Did Kennywood for the first time yesterday and was blown away by the airtime on Phantom's Revenge! Too bad my lip was split by a riders hat the very first ride of the day! (still a GREAT ride though!)

The wedding at CP was perfect! Got married in the gazebo in FrontierTown before the park opened and were on the first train of MF w/me in a full wedding dress and Joey in a tux! (I'll post our pics and full trip report later). Had a wonderful reception @ The Bay Harbor (great food!). We even were interviewed live on CNN!

Well, off to Hersheypark tomorrow!

Oh, wow! This is such a great story, I'm suprised it hasnt made CB news yet. A huge congratulations guys!!!

You're so very welcome Catherine! Sounds like the wedding was awesome. Im so sorry I couldn't be there-congratulations again! We'll have to hook up at the Po!nt this season still! :)

Catherine and I just got back home from our honeymoon. After the wonderful Cedar Point Wedding on Friday, 8/9/02. We honeymooned and did SFWOA, Kennywood, Hershey, Knoebels, Dorney, Six Flags Great Adventure. All of them new experiences for us, except CP and SFWOA. The only thing I will say was that it was extremely HOT!!! Near 100 degrees everyday except 8/9 and 8/10. But, the honeymoon was great!

Catherine and I will sit down and do a trip report of our honeymoon soon. Watch for it. A big thank you to all of our CB and GTTP friends for all the well-wishes. It is extremely nice of all of you, especially to our great friend, LuvRaptor (Raptor Jo). Sorry, you couldn't make the wedding. Hopefully, we can post some great ride pics and wedding pics soon, too.
