February Florida Trip

Associated parks:
None

I forgot what week it was but we arrived in Orlando on a Saturday and we checked into our hotel and met some of our relatives.

I'll use PT300's idea of using the smiley rating system, one for the least, 5 four the most

Sunday: We were going to go to Islands of Advendture but every one else except my family wanted to go to animal Kingdom. So no IOA for me this vacation, but I went a few years ago anyway. We started toward the back of the park and rode the Safari Tours ride.

Safari Tour: :):):):) This was a great ride and lots of fun because you could look at the animals in "Africa" and have a fun ride as well because the "tram" you are in slows down, speeds up, and stops with the consent of the driver, who pretended to have a accent.

We then headed to the 3D show "Its tough to be a bug"

"It's Tough to be A bug" :):):) This I thought was going to be boring but it was pretty cool. Their is water effects that spray out at you and the 3D is cool too. A great ride but my younger cousins were totally scared.

Then we headed out to Kali River Rapids and found that their was the same wait for fastpass or the regular queve so we just got in the queve

Kali River Rapids: :):):):) This is my favorite river rapids ride I've ever been on, mainly because its the only one that has a decent size hill. The theming is pretty cool to how you are going through a forest fire. Great ride, short wait.

We then moved on to Dinoland USA where I saw Primeval Whirl, which I had never heard of and thought was a wild mouse that had 2 tracks. After staring at that for a few minutes we all moved onto Dinosaur.

Dinosaur - :):):):):) I loved this ride! It was awesome with the theming and it was like a rollercoaster becuase it had hills and turns and it was fast. The t-rex at the end really startled me. I went on this ride twice and got a poster size onride photo.

After Dinosaur we decided to leave and go to the hotel pool for the rest of the day. Total Park Rating: :):):) because there wasn't that much to do and their weren't enough rides for the thrill seeker

Monday: Magical Kingdom :):):):)

I don't know howt o say it but for some reason I have and always will love this park. Its alot of fun, even if some of the rides are outdated but it has that Disney feeling in it.

We first headed to Space Mountain right as the park opened and there was about a 20 minuted line.

Space Mountain: :):):) This has got to be the most overated coaster in the world. Every one knows about it but it is really not all that great. It is very jerky but none the less its fun. Its sorta outdated with Arrow technology because if a coaster today was made like space mountain it would probably have a LIM launch if Disney was building it. And the lift is EXTREMELY loud.

Next off we went to Fantasy Land to waste my time on little children rides. Peter Pan's Flight I would give :):) only because we had fast pass, Winnie the Poop I would give :) because it was short and boring.

We then finally headed over to Frontierland and Splash Mt. only had a 30 minute wait so we got fastpass for TMRR which was a 50 minute wait and then we got in line for SM.

Splash Mountain - :):):) This ride has always been my favoite log flume with the best theming, But it seemed sorta weak now. The drop didn't tickle my stomach like it used to, and it was sorta boring. I still like it but not as much.

Thunder Mountain - :):):):) this is my favorite ride in the park! I love it so much! My 4 year old brothere and I rode together. I explained to him what airtime is and there fore he agreed to keep the lapbar up all the way. It was an awesome ride because I was standing up, laughing, and my brother was squished at every turn thanks to no seat dividers. As we exited, we got a fastpass to ride again.

We then headed to the Haunted Mansion

Haunted Mansion: :):):)1/2 I like this ride alot. It has really cool special effects and the ride is fun. Definately one of Disney's best.

Then the Pirates of the Carribean and Jungle River Cruise. Pirates of the Carribean I would have to give :):):) because it is a great family ride because it is a step up from Small World because it has a drop and it is a bit scarier since its pirates. Jungle River Cruise I would give :):):) because we had a great tour guide and it was alot of fun.

We then headed back to Thunder Mountain, which was great as usual, and then we went to the Fantasy in the sky fire works and the Parade which was really cool. Great Day at a GREAT park.

Tuesday - we just stayed at the pool all day with nothing to do.

Wednesday - The trip I had been waiting for Sea World! We didin't have my relatives with us because they had left that morning. Total park rating is a :):):):) We started off running extremely fast to Kraken, which was a walk on and stayed like that all day.

Kraken :):):):):) This was definetely my favorite ride of the whole trip and after going on it 17 times I still never got sick of it. Its fast fun and the loops are awesome. The 2 best parts are the first drop, which provides a ton of weightlessness and airtime and the 0-G roll. The tunnel is fun too. My first ride was in the front seat, and then after I just sat in what ever seat was available. Unfortunately I lost my camera during the dive loop but they kindly had a guy go out and get it.

We then headed next door to Atlantis

Jouney to Atlantis :):):) this was a fun ride with great theming but it was a bit boring because there is only one coaster section, and on the main hill you didn't get that wet. I went on this twice and the wait was 20 minutes.

We then headed to the turbobungee thing :(:(:(:(:(. This ride gets -5 because it was horrible. My you know where hurt the whole time. Whenever I jumped I landed on my balls and it was extremely pain ful.

Through out the day we went on many shows, got more rides in on Kraken and had a great time.

Total Trip Rating : :):):):)

You were standing on this ride?!? What, are you crazy? And you are teaching your four year old brother unsafe riding habits to boot? What in the hell were you thinking?
