Korn, why are Floorless coasters gimmicks? Wouldn't that mean that Stand-Up, Inverted, and basically all coasters besides the traditional sit down kind be gimmicks? To me, Floorless coasters give an incredibly smooth ride, more so than other B&M loopers, that includes some good airtime, especially on the first drop of Medusa at SFMW. They might not be as intense as some of the early Inverted coasters, or even the early Stand Up coasters, but they are not gimmicks imo. Peace. :)

Medusa at Marine World: the best in the west!
The Intamin Giga/Hyper

And as for prototype designs I like the Tilt coaster.

Hamburgers are only Hamburgers when people choose to call them Hamburgers.
Indoor themed coasters.
CoastermanJ, B+M's come naturally smooth. When I say gimmick, I mean that it doesn't change the ride experience. It feels like a normal B+M sitdown.

Parks for 2000: CP, Great Escape, Great Adventure, SFA, Islands of Adventure, Kennywood
I like floorless and inverted. Hypers are okay, and wood is okay too.

I like all B&Ms. I also like standup coasters and inverted coasters. I love going upside down. It is one of the best feelings in the world.

See you in 2001 for twice the fun (hint, hint)
Hyper/Giga!

I will ride any B&M except Iron Wolf at Great America
I like combination out and back/twisters, like Lakeside's Cyclone, and of course, Kennywood's Thunderbolt.
