Favorite time of the coaster season?

I have to say that despite how fun the Halloween time is, what with all of the haunted attractions and such, but I prefer the early spring months. Summer tends to get very hot and crowds are generally low in the spring. Nothing better than an uncrowded, warm, and beautiful day at an amusement park, IMO. What do you think?
I tend to like fall days.. I like cool days but not cold. And I like fall because the leaves on the trees are different colors and it adds nice scenery to a park.
Gotta love October, personally.

October for me too..........see a trend developing here?

I love October also, mainly because it gets dark earlier and I like riding coasters at night as well as the atmosphere at a park during the halloween celebrations. I also like the haunted houses cause not only are they fun but they also take people away from coaster lines for awhile.

May, June, and July.

Late April, Late September and of course October. I like the cooler, less crowded months. June, July & August are too darn hot. Open the flood gates on the sweat glands!

NOW, right near the beggining of a new season!!

I agree with October.... a crisp 50-degree day, bright blue cloudless sky, minimal crowds, the smell of autumn and funnel cakes and popcorn in the air. Mmm.

Definitely the very beginning of the season, early May. This is because everything is getting warmer, and the season is just beginning. I have lots more riding to do with the whole summer, and school is about to go to summer vacation. I don't like October, because it is cold, crowded, and the season is almost over.

For me, my favorite is January. I've been to BGT once in January, and all the coasters had no line, except Gwazi because of the horrible loading procedure and 2-train fill-1-leave-1-empty operation (yeah, they really have that ride mucked up.)

For the seasonal park times, I like June the most. Not as hot as August, not as hot or crowded as July. That might change this year, when I'm going to SFGAm opening day.

However, the best time of the year IMO to goto Big Chiefs is whenever they are open. Been there in June and August, and both times the only lines were for go-karts. In the morning, Cyclops was my private little airtime macine :)

October is great, what with the beautiful scenery and all, but it's too depressing to know that the parks close after that month. I geuss that's why I prefer the beginning of the season, in the spring months.

April and May are nice when you've been waiting all winter to get on some rides, and you can "break the fast."

September and October are nice, as those last rides on our favorites are always appreciated.

My favorite time is easily early Spring, March thru May. The park are very managable(except for SFMM because of X), and the weather is perfect on the west coast. I visited SFMW and PGA this past weekend and both parks are looking very nice!

Have you ever considered that maybe it's not the park that's the problem, but YOU?

February in Florida. Did it two years in a row now and I have had some of my best park experiences ever down there during that time. Nothing like a walk on front seat on Montu.

The first day and the last day. Last day in 2001 was terrific, 5 hours of the Batwing shoot for the Discovery Channel, followed by a really nice evening in the park.
