Favorite Roller Coaster Commercials

Here's a question for all of you while we wait for the coaster season to begin in some parts of the country. What is or was your favorite roller coaster commercial that you liked?
Mine was the Vortex commercial from PKI back in 1987. It had the coaster logo's hand tapping on a table as if it was waiting for something. Then a robotic female voice-over said, "The Vortex is waiting. Waiting to take you for a spin. Upside-down, six breath taking times."
Next you see a silouete of the coaster going through its inversions in a slow motion effect. After that the hand comes up holding the track and the word "VORTEX" comes up and I think the voice-over starts to make an evil laugh with lightning effects. That was an awesome commercial.
Also does anyone know when PKI will show a cool, but serious looking Son of Beast commercial? The only one I've seen was for the season pass ad that mentioned SOB. Pretty cheesey though.

P.S. I have way to much time on my hands.

The cp commericals are great. ( My uncle makes them).:)
I really liked Paramount Canada's Wonderland's commercial for Skyrider (Togo stand-up).

"There ain't no seats"

The Magnum XL-200 when it celebrated it's 10th anniversary was cool it took you up the hill and fast fowarded the tape and you rode almost the whole ride in 30 seconds!

Whose Line is it Anyway?
The new one for theglobe.com with the angry dwarf club.

Time for revenge.

That one is a hillarious one. I died laughing when they tied the dude up with duct tape. By the way, what coaster was that? It looked like a hyper-coaster.

Does anybody know what the MF commercials are going to be like?? They better be sweet.
Something like the promo video.
DUDE... the freakin' ads for the BAT at Kings Island were down right creepy (80 or 81) I can't remember exactly. You almost knew fatalites were going to incure on that thing! TIP: wanna scare some people at PKI, tell 'em that TOP GUN is actually the Bat brought out of storage, repainted and relocated in the park as a totally new ride. I've had people leave the line in front of me for saying that. It's a great laugh!
The new MF commercials coming out will be pretty alternative for CP. I have a copy of both of them from the physics teacher at old school I taught at. The first is just a teaser, but the second one will have you riding the ride in VR right off the video on their website. They are pretty cool. But the best commercial I've seen is the end of the year one that CP puts on, if you are coaster lover, you want to head back just one more September weekend. Since you know that you have 7 more months sitting at our computers talking about them.

Sounds like the promo video. I'm sure the TV spots in June will have real POV film/video. I know for sure they've shot video POV, but it was sans tunnels I think.

I liked the X-Flight commercial. It promoted the ride well and it was just awesome watching it run through its course. The only thing is after seeing it on every commercial break it sort of got old.

Anything besides "Hold On!"

I look at the cross, then I look away, give you the gun...blow me away-The Deftones

The 93-94 Busch Gardens Williamburg commercial. I was hella young but I do remember them showing Land of the dragons, Drachen Fire and Questor. It had that catch phrase "Come see....and Conquer......Busch Gardens Williamsburg". I still sing that song to this day! Anyone remember that?
Last year's Batwing commercial as well as this year's SFA "wake up call" commercial, the only problem with the Batwing commercial is that they keep showing X-flight just as they did last year.

Sonny, Baby carraige at the edge of oblivion!

Too bad the ride didn't open for two months after the comercial said it was no open.

Chuck, who says the ride did open for 1 eve and 1hr at the end of may but did not run daily till mid june.

Americana (Now called The great americana amusement park at Lesourdsville Lake) is opening in 2002. Indivdual visits are very improtant to the parks survival.

OK, Scratch that SOB post as funniest or best ive seen.

COASTER RIDING 101 was flat out great for Holiday World!

Paula had the link up to the video of it but I could never get it to work. Those comercials of theirs were absolutley great!

Chuck, who hopes they will show them again at SRM.
