favorite removed coaster

What's your favorite coaster that has been removed from where you grew to love it? Steel Phantom? Tidal Wave? Coney Island Thunderbolt?

"100,000 miles of track..."-Geddy Lee
Big Bend at Six Flags Over Texas. It screamed over the USA section from 1971 to 1979 and built by Anton Schwarzkopf.

The to be removed Windjammer @ Knott's. Seriously.
Tidal Wave at SFGAm.

We have actually lost two that i wish were still in our park(sfgadv)and, some of you probably will think i'm nuts but, lightening loops and Shockwave.Lightening loops was my very first looping coaster(this would be my favorite) and the speed of the take off was incredible back in the day.I can still hear it in action.I have to mention Shockwave because it was the only stand up we ever had in the park and, even though it was short and nothing spectacular,it was differant.

Top 3 coasters i have ridden..
1)Steel Force,Dorney Park.PA
2)Medusa,sfgadv
3)Batman and Robin the chiller,Batman side.sfgadv
I am sure Nitro will knock steel force out of #1.
It would have to be Rolling Thunder @ SFGAm.

But if that doesn't count, Tidal Wave.

Those two removed were awesome, and I wish I could still ride them again.

But now they are at two different parks. :(

The Bat. Even though I never ridden it I did like the color combo.

Can you take me higher? (CREED)
I loved the close to the ground work of The Bat. Talon may be the first coaster to equal it for this.
I'd have to vote for Steel Phantom.

I'd have to agree with rickyswmn, I really miss the old Schwarzkopf shuttles like Laser Loop, Lightning Loops, Tidal Wave, etc.

Such a simple design, such a great rush! They really don't take up much room, it's a shame to dee them all disappear.

I refuse to add a signature. Damn, too late.
I really liked that indoor coaster at Darien Lake before they removed it. Escape form Phntom Cove or something? It was a neat little wild mouse inside a building.

-------------
Coasters- a little slice of heaven
I'm with Lynch on this one...

STEEL PHANTOM ALL THE WAY!

P.S. Craig, the coaster you're thinking about is Nightmare.

-------------
The Jet Coaster ROARS!
Rails, at Valleyfair. It's much better than Mad Mouse. It's also my least favorite removed coaster, I can't think of any other coasters around here that I've been on that have been removed.
Corkscrew @ Geauga Lake. I know it was small and unthrilling, but it was my first coaster ever.

-------------
Don't mess with the X in 01
Corkskrew at Knott's Had great airtime!

Oooooh, my freekin' head.... Too many G's Too many G's! No, no, Too much Beer before the G's!
