Favorite New Coaster for 2001

What is your preference of the 2001 coasters?
Mine is Talon because it is the only one I will be able to go on next year.

"FEAR the Four!"
X is easily my favorite coaster for 2001.

So far I'm looking forward to riding 5 new ones Talon, Phantoms Revenge, Nitro, Hypersonic, and whatever SFA is getting. Talon is probably the one I'll ride most since we have Dorney Passes but I really want to ride Hypersonic. I won't beable to pick a favorite till I rode some.

If I had free travel to anywhere, X would be my pick. But, since I'm on the East Coast, I'm getting all "hyped" (no pun intended) for Hypersonic XLC. 0-80 in under 2... Mmmmm..

(2000 - PKD, Dollywood, SFA, BGW)
I won't be able to judge my favorite new-for-2001 coaster until I ride it... ;) (Hell, it ain't even '01 yet!)

If you're asking what I'm most hype about? Phantom's Revenge at Kennywood. It's closest to me, and I want all the speculation put to rest.

How dare you vanquish the Steel Phantom without his consent? Fear the Phantom's Revenge.
I would have to place a vote for "X" as my favorite coaster for 2001. Thankfully I will have the pleasure of riding it this summer.

BMCOASTER
X and DejaVu for sure, plus Hypersonic and the new one at SFA, got prop up the home parks.:)

Everybody calm down, the coasters do not open for another fifteen minutes.

Well, I won't be able to answer this question until my home park, Six Flags Ohio, announces it's new attraction(s). But if the flying coaster rumor is true, then I'd have to say that.

So many. I like the X coaster but Arrow is associated with pain. I am all for S&S Sports POWER though.

So far X takes my vote. Titan looks pretty strong too, and I will be hitting Texas in Spring or early Summer.

Are any other Texas parks getting anything new for '01? I read that SFAW (or was it SFFT) is NOT getting their rumored CCI. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Then again, all Texas coasters (except B:TE) will be new to me, since I have not been there.

I have no Idea yet. I guess I am most interested in SFO, since i grew up there. But X looks really neat. I also am really wondering what PKI have in store.
If I could ride any of them, X would definitely top my list. That looks insane! Second on my list would be California Screamin', which I'm surprised no one else has mentioned. 2 launches, 6800 feet of track -- sounds good to me.

The one I'm most hyped about that I will probably get to ride is the hyper at SFGAd. Mmmmmm....airtime.
Well, I get to ride a plethora of new coasters next year: Nitro, Hypersonic XLC, Phantoms Revenge, Talon, whatever SFA is getting, X, Deja Vu, Goliath Jr (yeah, I'm waiting for this one! ;)) PGA's mouser, SFMW's impulse, so it's hard to say which will be my favorite since I'm looking forward to riding them all. However, the ones I'm looking forward to the most are Nitro, SFMW's impulse, Hypersonic, Deja Vu and X, with X being in the front of the pack. I believe that X will be in 2000 and beyond what Batman The Ride was like in the early 90's. Peace. :)
California Screamin is ok. Nothing to plan a trip around, but hey, it is another coaster to ride. Yes, it is quite a long ride. It's a nice family coaster.

Say no, to lap bar nazis!
I heard that Astroworld is NOT getting their rumored woodie.

Well, they one I'm most looking forward to is X. Not that I will have the chance to ride it this year, but I just want to see how it works (that's the engineer in me). As for riding, I'm very excited about SFA's flyer. I was mad that PKD was getting a TA2K rather than Stealth. I mean, I though TA2K was cool, but not as cool as a flyer. Now though, I get to have both less than an hour away. Yummy...with a spoon! :)
