Favorite First Drop?

This is a tough one. As far as wood goes, I will have to go with the first drop on the American Eagle at SFGAm. Steel is a bit tougher, but I will have to go with Millenium Force, but Raging Bull is not far behind.

I would have to say that the best drop is on Ice Dragon at IOA! It doesn't look different from any other inverted drop, except I guess that they didn't have enough room to have it be nice and gradual, so it just tears you down. Still, when I ride it, I don't think that I should be going that fast down.
Wood
Georgia Cyclone (back seat): Looks short, seems normal; until you fly a foot out of your seat!]
American Eagle: Powerful drop that still delivers

Steel
Millenium Force: Power
Raging Bull (back seat): The dip gives the whip!
Steel-Superman:ROS at SFA
Wood-Roar at SFA
How about that tilt from 300'. Oh, sorry I was having a dream!
Milenium Force!!!
then stuff like Raging Bull, Hulk, and a bunch of others. the cool thing on Raging Bull is that the little drop then the big one, if you are in the back you start seeing rows drop and drop and drop, then all of a sudden you are thrown into the air and are facing srait down into the tunnel. It is one of my favorite rides in the back. and so smooth

Raptor would be my number 6 on the steel list.

Don't touch the watch.
Two: MF for the height and angle and B:TR for the way it twists back on itself.

I love Millenium Force's first drop, it's the best. My favorite Wooden coaster drop is the Villain's at SFWoA from the back seat-unbelieveable airtime there!
I agree with Z-man and C-man, SROS at SFNE's first drop is awesome!!
steel: tie with wedusa west and goliath at SFMM

wood: roar at SFMW

are you ready to go vertical... v2... SFMW... 2001
WOOD - The one and only Coney Island Cylone, without a second thought. More people here really need to ride this.

STEEL - There is just no denying it, Millenium Force takes the cake!

Thunderbolt at kennywood has the best drop ever. I love it. MF has a cool first drop but it didn't fell a whole lot different than all the other hyper-gigas i have rode. I like the view though!
Millennium Force, and it's 2 n's!!

Favorite wood drop: SOB (may not be steep but good view and fast)
Favorite steel drop: MF (gotta love riding on the up-stops and free falling)

CP in 2002, get to the point
I would have to give the steel to Steel Force. The air time on the drop sitting in the back seat is great.

Steel Force is 1#
Wood-American Eagle SFGam
The Boss SFSL
Gwazi BGT

Steel-Shockwave SFGam
Kumba BGT
Raging Bull SFGam
Steel = Mantis
Wood = No wood coaster I have been on has had a good first drop. So I'll say High Roller. (at VF)

Banshee?
That first drop on Drachen Fire looked VERY nice. I'm surprised no one has mentioned it. Well, it has been closed.... so I guess I'm not that surprised. :)
