Favorite Coaster Type

Very. S:UE's a great ride, and I'm sure the other installations will be too.

Hypers are my favorites right now, with inverted coasters at a close second. I may change my mind though when I get to ride a giga or a 4D.

Only four more months 'til X!!!
1. Wood
2. Intamin hyper coasters
3. B&M Inverted

Least Favorite

1. Arrow Looper
2. Wood Looper
3. Any Stand Up

I can't wait to stand in line...
Inverted Coasters(This includes SLC's)
Wooden Coasters
Steel Coasters with inversions
Wow...so much negative rankings for stand-ups. It hurts to read.

top:
1. B&M Stand-ups
2. B&M floorless
3. Non-Arrow Hyper/Giga

bottom:
1. Arrow looper
2. Arrow looper
3. Arrow looper
4. Woodies overloaded with thrill-killing trim brakes (i.e., Mean Streak)
1. Intamin Hypers
2. (tie) A good woodie, or a B&M sit-down

Wow, lots of people giving a nod to the floorless coasters, yet others call it a gimmick, go figure.

BEST
#1 A good Woodie beats all the rest, but a bad woodie can really stink a park up. (PGA)
#2 Inverted
#3 Floorless

I wish Arrow would revive the Suspended, but with open bottom cars, like a Vekoma SLC. The foot dangling combined with the swinging effect would ROCK!! I think overbanked turns could be done on this setup and would feel awesome!!

WORST
#1 Standard Boomerangs
#2 Premier Spaghetti Bowls, OUCH!
#3 Standups, all that I have ridden are pretty bad except Riddler's, B&M got THAT ONE right!! (sorry, StandUpFan)

Well even though Arrow isn't doing it, Vekoma has done just what you have said. It will debut at Canada's Wonderland and PKI this year. Also, the 'swing thing' coasters are similar to that too.

Anyway, to stay on topic, my favs are:
1: Wooden Twisters
2: Hypers
3: Wooden Out n Backs
4: Inverteds
Everything else is just kinda there...

Aren't they considered "family" coasters, though. I guess maybe if Setpoint and Vekoma would make an "extreme" version, that would be awesome. The family versions don't really excite me too much, you know.

1.CCI woodies - Not even Millennium Force could nudge Ghostrider out of my #1 Coaster spot.

2.Arrow Suspended - PKI's Top Gun is still one of the most intense coasters I've ever ridden and SFMM's Ninja was one of the most surprising.

Those are my favorites, even though I LOVE every single type of coaster. I've never been on a coaster I didn't like, with the exception of Flight of Fear (ouch!). *** This post was edited by Screamer on 2/12/2001. ***
Without a doubt ...

1. B&M anything ... Sitdown, Standup, Invert, Floorless ... waiting to ride a Vertical and Speed Coaster
2. Star Woodies ... like Ghostrider, Gwazi
WOOD.
i have 1 word for you...
B&M....no one makes roller coasters like they do.
