I enjoy the wooden twister and the B&M twister the most. I try to see how many times I can cross the tracks. Or, I'll have an out-and-back section, block brake, and twisted section.
I also like the wooden wild mouse... just wish you could build them higher.

LIM's and B&M's, Although the LIM coasters are limited for some wierd reason.

I was very excited for the LIM coaster, but we are limited with launch speed compared with height. We can't make inversions of very large size.

I lost my hat on Poison Ivy. How pathetic.
I have to say a B&M floorless is probably my favourite coaster! It has the widest variety of possible movements and elements. I don't use the vertical track for drops but it can be useful for experimenting with inversions!
I also like the wooden coaster as they look wicked with big swooping turns and helixes. One thing I do want is an intamin looping coaster with the new trains (colossus) so I can build my local coaster with the amazing looking loops in intamn's triangular track!!
I like building the Intamin Giga's cause you almost can't go wrong. They're perfect for just whipping something good up when you need it.
But my favorite still has to be the steel corkscrew. For some odd reason, real-life Arrows have always had the most visual appeal to me, so I really enjoy making one that looks nice in RCT. They're very, very limited (much more so than in real life), so it's a bit of a challenge to get them right. But the reward of a good Arrow done right is well worth the effort.

Looks like I'm on my own here, but I personally enjoy building the Steel Wild Mouse. They are very compact, cheap to build, sharp turns, steep lifts, and if designed right can easily get high ratings and high capacity, which equals big money for a small investment. Thus opening the door to expanding the rest of your park and building wooden and B&M monsters!
It's kind of like my gateway coaster. If possible I try to build one of these before anything else.

What's with the LIM coaster any way?
I tried building one in my park that I'm working on & I could only run just one train,I'm pretty sure I had more than enough room on the platform for two six car trains but the game only allows you to use just one or so it seems.
My favorites so far though have gotta be the giga coaster & the impulse, those rides look almost as good as the real thing given the graphics of RCT2 of course & you also gotta love the ability to adjust the lift speed on the giga, man what a nice touch it brings to the game.

Yeah, you gotta love those woodies as well but so far I havn't been able to add any just yet because I'm maxed out on my loan & running out of cash.
Perhaps if the go-karts I recently opened pay off then I'll be able to add a woodie to my park, right now all I've got is a mine train,a giga & an impulse.
The verticle impulse coaster is my favorite.

"I never apologize. I'm sorry but that's just the way I am."
My favorite (don't laugh) is the spiral lift coasters.
Because of the lift, they are very compact and provide good ratings. I've made a few and named them all Iron Cyclone.
