Fav. Ride-Ops?

Which Ride Ops are your fav? How do they handle Crowds? Line Cutters? Ride Malfunction? Do they always check your harness? I would say the crew of Alpengeist @ BGW they are always on the ball and can handle a pretty good crowd.

By far, the White Water Landing Crew, the crowds are always pretty big, but they do their job in getting riders on and off quickly and effortlessly. This one guy said to us, "now when you get up there I want you guys to yell as loud as you can, and if I don't hear you then I'm sending you back up there." We all screamed because we knew that once cool splash would do us in.

Dorney Park just... rules!
well i really dont have favs but last year we rode corkscrew countless times towards evening since there was no line but it was so hot so they were veyr humorous. they said, instead of if your happy and you know it, "if you wanna go home and take a cold shower clap your hands" and all the ride ops clapped

Legend and Raven's crews are simply awesome.

My favorite ride operators have to be Knott's Berry Farm. Only at the farm do you have ride operators ask you PERSONALLY if you liked the ride. They also seem the enjoy themselves. My second pick would go to Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Those ride operators look like they have a great job working at the park. So many of them are friendly and kind.
I have also found some (very few) really good operators at Six Flags Magic Mountain. It seems like their are a lot of okay ride operators at SFMM, but there are a small handful of great ones that really make the day a special day.
The ride ops at H:XLC were pretty darn good, they each induidually asked me if I liked the ride, and the time it takes for each train is gr8. with 2 trains it only took me an hour and 40 mins from the end of the que to get to the station!
The ride ops on Raging Bull are pretty nice because if you are on the last ride then they let you go on it for like 3 or 4 times without getting off. Once I rode it 5 times without getting off.
Personally, I've always liked the Magnum crew! ;) Seriously though, CP has really efficient crews. Hersheypark, in my experience was pretty quick and friendly, but not quite as much so as CP.

2001 Magnum Crew
One of the most impressive crews I ever saw was Hypersonic on the 2nd day of the season. There were 13 uniformed PKD personnel on the station. (Including security to make sure the people who were getting kicked off the ride were not making trouble I assume)

I really like Raging Bull's crew. They make sure you get out fast, and that the trains are full. Not only can they do their work, but they are friendly too!

Best crews- Tie between Magic Mountain and Cedar Point crews becasue they both work fast at checking restraints and getting people on and off. They can both be funny at times also.
Worst crews- Hands down Six Flags Marine World. An awesome park but the slowest ride ops ever!!!! Medusa was ment to handle 3 trains and they have trouble with 2!!!! They take like at least 3 minutes to check restraints no joke and they wait seriously about 4 minutes after you sit down in the seat to send you off. A great park with the worst Op's!!!!

Jay @ Shivering Timbers.

Nice enough to take an on-ride pic of me in the station. =)
I like the Shivering Timbers ride ops mainly because you can actually get to know them because there is almost no wait!

Coasters- a little slice of heaven
My fav. crew was the Mantis crew of 1999.

I would have to say that in all of my visits to parks, the Hypersonic crew has been the best I have ever seen. They were very professional, very friendly, and very interested in the ride and what they were doing.

As much as I love BGW, I have to say that last year, AC and Alpengeist had a bad crew in the morning. Never failed that they just wanted to talk to each other on the phone and dispatch the trains without saying a word. One crew member on AC put her head down on the control to take a nap. I can't believe that BGW would put up with this. There were, however, great crews on these two rides at other times in the day. Hopefully they have weeded out these bad ones this year.
My vote goes to SFGAdv's Nitro and Medusa crew. When Nitro is down (which isn't that often), they have someone walk the queue explaining what's going on and answering questions. When there's no problem, they're fast and very polite, sometimes funny too. Medusa's crew is fast and nice too. Three cheers!

Raging Bull crew is the best at SFGAm. Next best is Viper. Kudos to the whole SW territory team.

What is life without it's ups and downs
Its S.O.P. for employees to host the line when a ride is down. They are probably being extra cautious with Nitro since it is brand new.

I liked the crew on Raptor. At the end of the ride the ride op rapped to the infamous Eminem song "When the ride comes to a stop, please stand up , please stand up, please stand up!!!
ALL the CREWS AT C.P. ARE GREAT ! VERY FREINDLY, CHEERFULL, FAST ! THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS C.P. GETS VOTED AS BEST AMUSEMENT PARKS AROUND ALL THE TIME
