Fastlane at SFGAM

I know that fastlane costs $10 for 4 rides and I know which rides its good for but my question is where do I buy them? Also if I get in the park at 9:30 will the place be selling the fastlane passes before the park opens the rides at 10? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
They were selling them in Hometown Square the day i was there. They were a waste of money for the most part that day (Monday 7/9). People that were using them for Raging Bull at least were only cutting about 10 minutes off their wait time......V2 would be the only reason to have used them on that day.

You can by the fastlane by the Whizzer entrance (where you by the fastlane tickets isn't right next to the entrance to the Whizzer). The candy store is right next to the fastlane. There is a BIG banner hanging from the place where you by the pass.
On the park map, the "Grand Music Hall" is right next to the building that sells the fastlane pass. The "Grand Music Hall" is located in Hometown Square.
If you get to the park at 9:30am, the Hometown Square will not be open, meaning that the workers haven't let people in the section. I think, but I'm not sure, that "they" sell the fastlane pass at 10:30am, but I'm not sure. Hope that helps;)

If you buy a fastlane pass, and want to use it on V2, use it before 1:00pm because "they" close the fastlane because the line will be so long. Keep that in mind!!!!

They don't close the Fastlane pass. I've used this twice and the Fastlane has not been closed. The only thing is they run out of passes around 1:00 so you need to buy it early. I believe it's a must buy on the weekends but you could probably skip it on weekdays. The pass is good from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM the day you buy them.

For V2 it did when I went there. I'm saying that in the afternoon, the line would be nearly on the bridge, so workers closed the fastlane because the wait was about 2 hours.

Thank you all for your help. Now I know where to go to get the pass this Saturday. It kinda sucks though that they don't start selling them till 10:30. I know they limit the passes to 2000, How long do you think it will take for them to sell them all out? I was hoping to get in the park early and buy them and then get back to the area for the rope drop to get a quick ride on V2. I thought they opened up Hometown square and held the people at the entrance to the Southwest Territory. Atleast thats what they did last year. I hope what you say is wrong about cutting the line off for fastlane on V2 because thats kinda against what they promote. Oh well I hope it all works out for me Saturday and thank you all again for you help.
"They" might sell the passes early but I don't know the excite time they sell the fastlane.

I was there on a Saturday a couple of weeks ago, and they were available as soon as the gates were opened - about 9:30AM. In fact, we purchased the passes, then proceeded to Southwest Territory for walk-on rides on Raging Bull and Giant Drop - we had 5 rides by 10:30. When 11:00 rolled around, the park began to fill, then we made use of the FastLane passes.
If you stop to buy FastLanes, you will be deep in a line for V2, because everyone runs to V2 instantly. V2's queue will fill up while you are buying your passes. Not to worry - that is what FastLanes are for, to make that V2 wait shorter. Also, if FastLane gets cut off for a time at V2, or it is broke down, you can come back later and try it again with little time wasted, and there are other diversions in the V2 area to keep you busy (Batman, Iron Wolf, Logger's Run). Stick with my above listed strategy - very few run to SW Territory right away anyway because of V2. FastLane is highly recommended for V2 (even on weekdays), as breakdowns are somewhat common, so you don't waste your day waiting, then have it break down. Get them as soon as possible upon your entry to the park, they are limited, and are highly desirable to have on a busy day.
The FastLane booth is located in Hometown Square - when you enter the park, go to the right side of the carousel into Hometown Square and follow the signs to the FastLane booth. If you enter the park this way, you'll have no trouble finding it.
