Fast & Furious ride producer talks about the illusion of motion at Universal Studios Hollywood

Opening June 25th at Universal Studios Hollywood, Fast & Furious: Supercharged brings the incredibly successful movie series into the theme park realm for the first time. The new ride has been incorporated into the classic Universal Studio Tour, and includes several stars from the films.

Sometimes illusion rides make the best rides of all. From the Haunted Swing back in the day to this high tech system, parks entertain people quite successfully by making them feel like something is happening when it really isn't. It's creative and awesome. And it can have a small footprint.
Does anyone remember the "hydrolators" at what used to be The Living Seas at Epcot? As a kid, that seemed like a really convincing effect.
