In Amusement Today, there is an article about Fantasy Island in Ingoldmells, England They will receive a suspended looper from Vekoma, and the dimensions are monstrous.
The construction will be stretched through the next 2 years. It is set to debut in May 2002. It will be called Odyssey and will stand 265-feet tall. It will feature a 200-foot vertical loop and be 4,200 feet long.
Will this be the first hyper-inverted?

That deal is not final. Zoning has to cleared, and Vekoma has a lot more 'testing' to do before it is ready. That is a lot of money for that sized park. Remember, the British are getting bodacious in rumors like the Americans.
Great, In two years there will be complaints about how big of a headache it gives you.
True, as Vekoma custom coasters are usually headbangers as with the 7 inversion Goudurix sit-down at Parc Asterix, France. This Hyper-SLC certainly needs a lot of work to prevent this!
