Family sues Disneyland over bedbugs, but no complaints filed with health agency

A Northern California family is suing the Walt Disney Co. saying its Disneyland Resort vacation two years ago included being bit by bed bugs while staying at the Grand Californian Resort & Spa. The Orange County Health Care Agency said it has received one complaint about bed bugs in the last five years. The complaint, received earlier this month, was dismissed after an inspection found no such evidence.

They must get a lot of these types of suits filed all the time. I wonder why this one was reported? Slow news week?

Probably. TV stations and cable news channels need to fill hours of airtime; if there's nothing actually important going on, they need to fill the hours with something.
