Fallsview Indoor waterpark opening this month.

One of the 2 new indoor water parks for Niagara Falls is opening this month.
Great Wolf Lodge is already open(I Believe, correct me if im wrong)

The Clifton Hill Amusement park construction has started and the ferris wheel section of the 12.5 acre park will open this year as the ferris wheel is almost complete. Hopefully the 2 coasters will be built within the next 2 years.

Edit: Also the facts lie, yhey says it is North America's largest hotel and waterpark which IMO I believe is fake. Although it probably is the largest waterpark IN a hotel. That thing is hudge. *** Edited 4/19/2006 1:08:13 AM UTC by j_o_e_y__***

Not necessarily, the hotel consists of actually THREE hotels, so if you combine the number of rooms for all three hotels which have covered access to the waterpark, you might be claiming the largest indoor hotel/waterpark in North America.

Great Wolf Lodge is officially opened (soft opening until the official opening next week).

If they held of on starting the construction of the waterparks THIS YEAR, vs a year or two ago... I can almost bet you 100 to 1 that they would NOT consider building there... why? Because of the USA's current decision to require passports to cross border between Canada & USA.

Ripley's Entertainment, for years which has had a number of attractions in the 'Falls... has put the plans of the huge indoor aquarium on hold until USA re-thinks this passport deal into something much more cheaper, or just doesn't go through with it at all... so these waterpark hotels may be one of the last few large-scale projects opening up in the Falls for awhile until USA gets its act straight.

The HOCO ferris wheel is a done deal obviously, but I bet they won't go through with the amusement park until the same thing happens. If they require passports, kiss the new park with coasters goodbye. If the planets align right & Rumsfeld and co. have a change-of heart, then things may move along more smoothly.
