Falll Coaster Events? Who is Doing What, Where, and When??

I thought it might be kind of kewl to investigate what Fall '05 Coaster Events or Parks people are planning on visiting and/or attending. It looks to be a DYNAMIC October and September what with the Holiday World event coming, and, as usual, the Phoenix Fun Fallfest @ Knoebel's.

What other interesting events or park trips do the Buzzers have planned?

I'm not doing any fall 'events'. My next event is in december, it is in an undisclosed place, and by invitation only.

You already caught me at both CB events this year, I think we're done with events for this season.

(While most of you long for the chance to find out if Gonch really exists, Barry has ridden in my car. Cool stuff like this could happen to you too if you attend CB events. ;) )

Nah, once summer ends and 'real life' begins again - we're pretty much off the market.

La Ronde in Montreal, Quebec. Doing an event with 3 hours ERT to celebrate Monstre 20th anniversary. Its on september 17th.

I did my far away traveling over the summer. My final two events are relatively close to home-- Lone Star Coasterthon on September 10 & 11 and Fiesta Fest on October 15 & 16.

Yes, I was given access to Lord Gonchar and his delightful Other Half when, after having my brains addled from massive riding, I realized that my "carriage" was some distance away from the King's Castle.

When it became apparent that I had unmasked the real, the true identity of Lord Gonchar. . .

That day remains forever vivid in my memory. . .I kept approaching the Lord Gonchar and his charge and, looking all pitiful and such, was given direction and answers and even a few Keys to the Castle (these were rare commodities that day). At one point, I even snagged a chicken wing or hot doggie or two. (The Lord and his Lady had been Big Game Hunting earlier that morning).

Well, life has never been the same since. He has made me an honorary knight and I am in charge of his Park Security. In point of fact, we are Raising the Moat at this time. . .

All requests to Lord Gonchar, heretofore and thereafter, to say nothing of ergo (ah-hem!) will have to be run through me.

Finally, I am assuming his identity in the days, weeks, months ahead--and will be posting here using his nom de plume. All salacious and unsavory commentary of Lord Gonchar and his kingdom will result in immediate exile to the land of Dippin' Dots, THE ICE CREAM OF THE FUTURE, where said subjects will be "remade," "repackaged," and dropped into the nearest available Six Flags Park for, er, re-theming. A dreaded and despicable end, to be sure.

Lord Gonchar will be off performing heroic acts that I shall report back on at a later date.

As he stumbled out of the castle (last night's grog weighing heavy on his breath/er, mind!), he said something about going on a long VOYAGE and not to expect him until next May, at which point he promised to return with. . .and this was the really STRANGE part. . .Santa Claus.

Going on a VOYAGE to get Santa Claus?

What can it all mean?????

Fall events? For me there's always been one, PPP. This year there's another one, and it's got something special...Coaster Alley! Two of the finest wooden coasters in existence...

Ooooh! I like that! I feel so "secretive" now, and will be to THAT event as well. :-P

I am going to the Holiday World thing, as well as PPP.

As far as November, a weekend trip to Florida (finally) might be doable. We will see.

And yes Gonch exists, and I even know his real name. ;-) If you are lucky he will stalk you instead of the other way around.

I'm going to PPP and Boulder Dash bash also in October. I'm still waiting for the Super Hero Celebration date to be finalized for ERT on the real #1 steel coaster SROS at SFNE. Last years event was the best ERT on a coaster I ever had, 2hrs on SROS with out getting off 22 rides

Well, I finally verified that my calendar will be clear for PPP. And while not "events" in the one day sense, I'll probably hit DP's Halloweekend and Hersheypark in the Dark (for the free parking if nothing else). And Christmas Candylane/ Sweet Lights at HP too while it still is "officially" fall.

Tina! You're not supposed to say anything about that thing at that place! Then people will know you got an invite and they didn't ;).

Gonch, you know if I win, some Pittsburghers will be invited. I'm making you go. I need to know you really are that silly looking and non-intimidating in person ;).
