All things considered....this is not a surprise to me. I do wish it were not cancled....but it is. We just have to deal with it. There could be more reasons than we know about right now than what meats the eyes. Though I wont go into some of the what I have thought of as reasons since there is no need to speculate.

We can hope and pray for the park and the family of Tamar. We can donate to 2 different places on her behalf. Both IMO are worthy of my dollars. Even though I am not personally of Jewish faith I will likely still donate to the syangogue. I will definitely donate to the Rape and Violence fund as I personally feel that is a great cause to be donating to even without such a tragedy forshadowing my donation.

Let us just hope that it does not cause more harm to Holiday World and the Koch family than it already has. Another rollercoaster event there is the least of my concerns.

Yes Moosh, I am well aware of that. I don't think my post made it sound like I thought Jeff cancelled it, but I should have made myself more clear. My comments were directed towards the parks. I had meant to say "when PARKS decide" in my last line and I mistakely left it out.

That being said, I do think it's probably best to not hold the Sept. event. as I don't think anyone would have a good time. I just think emotions are too raw and everyone needs time to heal right now.

i can see why the park would not want to have any more events. think about it. the park holds an event and the people who go the event thank the park by not following the rules, killing themsevles and causing problems for the park and tarnishing their image. if i were the park i would say screw the events too.

Healing will take place. But although I will ALWAYS remember this tragedy and how surreal it was as everyone filed out in complete silence, NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING will ever keep me from having fun at that park. It's just not possible.
