Fall Affair 2010 flyer posted

For those who really, really like to plan ahead, the flyer has been posted for the 2010 Fall Affair event. You can get it here.

This is the first time we've had it before the water park closed, so you can get some of that Wildebeest lovin' in there. Hope to see you there!

Wildebeest lovin'? Hon, I think that's illegal here in Indiana...

And its age.

Wow, a $7 increase over last year.

$2 of that is just HW's annual increase, but the rest is because we're having the event while Splashin' Safari is open (we've never done that before).

I guess where there's a Wildebeest, there's a way.

I thought I could stay away for a year but there may be too much temptation.

Having this before Splashin Safari closes makes bringing my family up for it MUCH more appealing. Good call, Jeff. Hope we can make it.

I think my 5 year old is going to be tall enough for Raven this year (And tall enough for Legend and Voyage, but I don't think I would let her on those yet. I don't want to scare her away from coasters!)

Since I looked it up:

Park hours on 9/18 are

9:30am - 5:30pm Holiday World

10:30 - 4:30 Splashin Safari

all times are central.

I am sooo hoping we can go!! If I am still living in Ohio (and I hope not) we will be there. Its been too long since we've been to HW. If this event is anything like past CB events it will be awesome!! :)

Last year's fall affair was really fun. The park was basically empty all day, so I got absurd amounts of rides in. Not to mention the absolute downpour during the Voyage ERT. I'm certainly planning on going again this year.

I call Cedar Point my home park even though I live in the Chicago Suburbs.

I could do without the downpour this year. :)

I went to Riding of the Bull at Great Adventure last year on the same day and it was raining there too. If I have to ride in the rain, I'd rather it be at Holiday World.

Normally rain at the amusement park is a buzz kill. But when it's during ERT on Voyage, it's actually a pretty good time. Think what you will, but I will never forget those rides on Voyage. They were pretty awesome.

^Yes they were, especially our final lap in the front seat.

Of course this "coaster" enthusiast is pretty sure that the ride he rode the most that day was Gobbler Getaway, that ride must have crack piped into its ventilation system its just so addicting, especially when you can don't even have to get off the ride.

I enjoyed standing the Voyage station on the loading playform with Will during the downpour. Just ... laughing.

And remaining...dry.

Till some enthusiast hugged me... :)
