Thousands of thrill seekers have experienced the plunge in recent weeks, but it has been hit or miss for those visiting Busch Gardens, hoping to hop on Falcon’s Fury and dive, face-first toward the ground. Now, the long-awaited drop tower is officially open.

I suppose the late opening is less of a negative impact on BGT than other regional parks since they are open for the rest of the year. For most other parks 2014 would have been virtually a complete bust for this ride.
True, but the summer season is still a pretty huge part of the year. I don't know how well known it was when people arrived that the ride was still not open, because the marketing materials in local grocery stores and what not displayed the ride prominently.
