Ohhh....bet that hurt. My prayers go out to the guys family.
You know...if it had fallen on his head and killed him instantly, he wouldn't have felt a thing. But the friggin thing had to land somewhere else on him and ake him suffer. Poor guy. Hope his family is OK.
I think that it is odd how most accidents don't even occur to riders, but workers. The Lake Compunce worker, the op who fell through the BKF station, and now this. Wierd.

Yeah as there is a big fuss about riders getting hurt.

My condolences to the worker's family.
Workers are exposed to literally more of the ride than the public and in areas with fewer safety guards. While the article doesn't give many details, this sounds suspiciously like another failure to lockout an energy source, similar to the Lake Compounce incident.
Oh great.

Life is a roller coaster...ride it!
It spins in a circular motion then there is a hydralic arm that lifts it up about 45 degrees so you spin and go up and down. Then it does the same thing in the opposite direction.

Your best? Losers are always whining about doing there best...winners go home and ******* the prom queen.
I feel bad. :-(
The only way really how he could be crushed on such a type of ride if they didnt shut down the power. I dont see him being crushed by anything other than him not shutting off the power.

My deepest sympathies to the victim's families. To be honest, I don't really enjoy carny rides that much.

Wipeout is a trabant by Chance.
Not exactly, the Wipeout is the latest take on the Trabant. It differs from a Trabant in that it has seats facing both forwards and backwards, sort of like Face/Off. Each compartment seats 4, split into two pairs facing each other. Ride action itself is similar though not quite the same as a Trabant and is generally faster and more intense. Other mods include automatic lapbars.
