Fair ride collapses in India, killing one person

A police inspector died and 13 people were injured after an electrical swing, locally called ‘tsunami ride', collapsed at the 39th Surajkund International Crafts Fair on Saturday evening, triggering panic and a brief melee at the venue.

That did not need to be 20 minutes long, which is why I only watched for 15 seconds.

I started skipping through it when he said "today's just gonna be a quick video" four seconds into his 18 minute video.

It's astonishing to me that more people aren't killed when a ride fails like that. (Or in the previous incident, also in India I think, when a pendulum ride broke in two.) Horrifying.
