Face/Off - PKI - CoasterBuzz

Today I was at PKI and Face/Off was running its normal test runs around 9 and as it went through the station on the way back it went up to catch the chain and it missed and went back through the station. The ride opened later about an hour late. I was just wondering if this has anything to due with it having no people or if they might have to modify it. Also - 2 cars for the beast 3rd train are on the transfer. Hopefully they will get the rest shortly.

They won't modify it for one minor test run incident. I love Invertigo's and think they might be better than the Deja's becuase they work! Face off seating is sweet, but takes away your view and can keep your mind of the ride, good for people who are scared, the cobra roll is awesome, and the loop and cobra roll are 5 times better backwards! The Roll, is extremly werid feeling!

Nothing is wrong with Face Off and it doesn`t need modifying. I did ride the ride today, shortly after it opened. I did notice the two cars of the third Beast train. I can`t wait till they get all three running for capacity purposes. I left the park by 11, as I rode every coaster because of the gold pass ERT by that time. BTW, all of King Cobra has been dismanteled and there are no longer cranes on the old site, however, the footers are still there. Some track can be seen to the right when going through the brake run on Son of Beast.

I actually seen it miss the catch this morning, I seen the exact same thing last sat morning while eating breakfast in the drop off area before work.

Lets just say the ride is far from perfect but when it is working it is intense.

Americana (Now called The great americana amusement park at Lesourdsville Lake) is opening in 2002. Indivdual visits are very improtant to the parks survival.

Face/Off has a tendency to miscatch during startups. It is a normal thing. Most of the time it happens when the weather is cold and the track is not warm enough. It is not an everyday occurrence.
