Extreme Rides 2000 on Sunday

Anyone who missed it the last hundred times it was on, ;) , Extreme Rides 2000 is on Sunday, Feb. 4 at 2pm on the Travel Channel. It features Shivering Timbers, Journey to Atlantis, Spiderman, Volcano, Medusa, Oblivion, Skyscraper and Thrust Air 2000 and then some smaller parts on Millennium Force, Son of Beast, Goliath, Stealth, and some drop rides. It was on last night around 9:00 o clock. I love the show they have 2 different coaster shows that appear it seems every friday night. I wish they had different ones though. I have seen both of them like 20 times.

I have seen that one before its realy good!

Damn I get a lot of channels but of course I dont get travel channel!

Coastergenius, you said it. ;) I don't get the Travel Channel here either. They have some great ride shows, but nothing doing here in the San Francisco Bay Area. Sucks big time. Peace. :(

I never used to have the Travel channel, but then i got satelite TV. now i have it and can enjoy it's coaster shows (which is the only time i watch the travel channel).

I hope Extreme Rides 2001 isn't just about the 2000 coasters. But I do want to see more about S:RoS, MF, SOB, and SFO's new coasters. And I knew it was on Friday...after I checked the TV Guide on Saturday when it was starting again. I wish more people would tell us when these shows are on or we could get a coaster TV guide on here. So what do you say?

I only watch the travel channel during the coaster shows too. It would be boring if they weren't on. I first saw TA2k on it. The shows are very well done.

Probably Memorial Day Weekend that is when the discovery channel usually plays their new coaster shows.

The Travel Channel is owned by Discovery Channel, so there should be some overlap, but I didn't see this one either as we also don't get The Travel Channel. The last good show I saw was Extreme Rides on TLC, but it only featured an Ejector seat and three coasters: Top Gun & Stealth @ PGA and Millennium Force @ CP. Someone said there's a whole show being dedicated to CP. Why bother with the coverage they already give the park in these shows? LOL! I remember that Intamin Fan. I don't think I would want to see about any coaster there besides MF. I would take Alpengeist over Raptor. Riddler's Revenge over Mantis. S:ROS over Magnum. SOB or GhostRider or Villain or Shivering Timbers or Boulder Dash or Raven or over Mean Streak. And almost any other coaster out there would be better than the rest. There make that show for me Discovery. Just my opinion though.

Did the discovery channel ever show the coaster show where they showed the making of lightning racer? supposedly they were supposed to air it, but I never saw it.
