Expedition G-force in action!

If this link works, there is some amazing footage of this new Intamin in action, as well as Millennium Force. Wasn't sure if this was a better fit for the news section or not, but here goes...

Wow!! That is a sweet-looking drop. That's cool that they showed Millennium Force. I wish I spoke German so I could translate the newscast though.

Let's hope PKI and Knott's Berry Farm take a look at this coaster ;)
I sent it in to the news section right before you posted this!

I'm sorry Craig, I debated whether to post this or not, and I probably should have waited. I had a feeling someone sent it in.

WOW!! This coaster looks awesome. Too bad it's in Germany. We can only hope that a couple of these grace the open landscape of some of our hyper less parks.
I was able to understand about half the German. No use translating it here...it pretty much talks about how Intamin just built one of the tallest coasters in Europe. They also mention that Colossus is the tallest wooden coaster in the world (which it ISN'T...why can they keep advertising this?). They also say that the first drop is one of the steepest in the world, at 82 degrees.

The ride looks awesome...I'd love to go ride it!

P.S. It took about 15 seconds to load for me. Traffic must not be too bad right now. (I have DSL, but there shouldn't be too much delay right now, even for you modem users) *** This post was edited by Jman on 6/12/2001. ***
Nice shot of Colossos also.

I might be visting Germany later this summer. does anyone know how close Holiday Park is to Heide Park? *** This post was edited by goonsta on 6/12/2001. ***
I am going to Germany next month. I am going to Heide Park and Holiday park. I know that Holiday park is 177 miles from Munich and Heide park is around 470 miles from Munich. My friend lives in Munich so that is where I will be traveling from.

Collossus IS the tallest wooden in the world....

Is there any chance of Michigan Adventure getting one of these? We all know that MA is due for a hyper/giga, and CF has a good relationship with Intamin.
Superman:UE...Colossus is 197 feet tall. SOB is 218 feet tall. Sorry.
