Excellent photo of footers for X

Found the best photo of X so far;

The 'block' of footers just below the center is for the station. The ones to the extreme left are for the turn to the Lift Hill which runs past Viper's drop into the Boomerang.

Members have been buzzing on what's taking so long. My two cents is the footers are the longest & most tedious & one of the most important parts of the ride. One they're done, the rest should be a breeze.

Awsome pic!! I agree that X won't be open before August, which is why I reschedueled my second trip for the second to last weekend of Fright Fest.

You are correct that the footers take the most time in the field construction of a steel coaster, though steel fabrication also takes quite a bit of time. The other problem with doing footers is concrete work is very subject to weather conditions.
