Ever Have A Solo Ride?

I rode the Dania Beach Hurricane several times by myself on a recent trip to Florida.

Batman: Sfgam, when RB was new and you rode the batman side of the park first, there is seriously no one there.

I have also been on the Dania Beach Hurricane by myself.  You can buy unlimited rides for $10.  Now I just need someone to ride it with.

I've ridden with one other person in the front seat of otherwise empty trains on Python at BGT, Fire and Ice at IOA, GASM at SFoG, and Knoebels Whirlwind.  Those are the only times I can think of that I've been on trains THAT empty...

Tidal Wave 23 times straight on a normal day of operation. It was drizzling and the park was dead that day. Most incredible.

Since Jinx is such a rough ride, I am sorry to say I did not enjoy my own train very much

 

I have had other trains to myself on several other coaster, but I don't have cool pictures like this one.

The only one I can think of is Viper @ sfmm.

Ive done it on Villain, Hurricane Category 5, Blue Streak, Mean Streak, Mantis, Mine Ride, Magnum (wth one other person), Gemini (with poeple in the other train), Woodstock Express, Racer, And The Beast.

The chiller at gadv every single day of the 2001 season, before any GP got to ride =) And skull mountain a couple times. And unfortunately GASM, yuck.

Kevin... that's perfect! I would love to do that. That's always been one of my favorite aspects of the Beast, the mellow, cool ride ops. Plus it kicks booty, but that's not news.

My solo ride wasn't quite solo. It was on Magnum, I was dating a girl who worked on it, so I'd ride while waiting for her to get off work. One night there was just me and one other guy waiting, so he sat in the front, I sat in the back. Pretty dang cool. After, we felt some weird bond in 'sharing' solo rides. It felt solo enough!

X-Flight and S:UE.  I love riding solo, it's a totally different ride experience.

At CP, during a pretty heavy rain(they closed it after our ride), I rode Mantis with a stranger.  We were the only two people on it, front car.  The trims were on, and the first vertical loop went on forever.  I really didn't think we were gonna make it.  We had time to look at eachother and swear, the look on his face was so classic(but I bet mine was even better).  I wish I would have bought the picture, we both had our hands in front of our faces, trying to block the painful rain.  One of my all time favorite coaster moments.

I used to give couples' night rides on the Jungle Cruise at WDW. Lights off, no spiel, you get the picture.  Made for a great tunnel of love.

MANY TIMES (test riding):  Cedar Creek Mine Ride, Mean Streak, Magnum, Millennium Force, a few flat rides.

Non-test riding:  Cedar Creek Mine Ride, Corkscrew, Gemini, MANY flat rides, Woodstock Express, Phoenix, Raging Wolf Bobs, SFNE Thunderbolt

Hoosier Hurricane(IB), Cornball Express(IB) and Cedar Creek Mine ride(CP) me and my friend rode all three of these by ourselves this year.

Ninja at SFStL. Three laps on a sunny morning, the crew wanted me to go again!  My ears hurt to much!
Then off to Bat Man and two laps just me, and a mom and her two kids But they made us get of and go around, while the train sat in the station!
MagnumForce and I got several rides on Python, on  a January afternoon at BGT in 90.

All the time, The Villian Front Seat, X-flight, BKF, Raging Wolf Bobs, Double loop,  Big Dipper.  Goliath, Collosus, Viper, Deja Vu, Batman, Riddler, Ninja, STE, SUE, and Ghost Rider, Supreme SCream, and Thrill Shot.

Viper @ SFDL... it sounds sooooo weird going through the tunnel w/o one scream! And to think I used to think there were sound effects in there, hehe.....

Several times I have had the pleasure of Magnum,Blue Streak and Mantis all to myself.

I rode the Westcoaster by myself before. IT is not really anymore thrilling riding the coaster without anyone else in the train. Maybe riding Goliath or some other giant coaster by myself would be more thrilling, though.
