Ever forget if you've ridden a coaster?

For the life of me, I cannot remember if I ever rode the Screamin' Demon at KI. I know it was removed in '87, which means I would have had to ride it when I was 9 or so.

Does anyone know what the height limit might have been for this ride when it was at KI? If it was over 48", I probably wasn't tall enough to get on it.

I have that problem with racing coasters, trying to remember which side(s) I rode. I also kept having this nagging memory of riding a coaster at Tweetsie Railroad, but I was informed by the GM that the only coaster they ever had was removed in the early 70s (before my time).

No, but some I have very vague memories of. For example, Space Mountain at WDW: all I remember is a neon-lit tunnel and going up a lift alongside another train.

I remember riding The Dips at West View Park but I can't remember if I ever rode the Racing Whippet.

Let's see: the coasters I *may* have ridden.....in the 70s/early 80s....include ones BGW/PKD/SFGAdv.....I was not born an enthusiast, ya know....but I have been "re-born" as one...:)...Glissade, Der Wilde Catze, Galaxi, and who-knows-what at SFGadv.....

I'm not sure if I rode the River King Mine Ride at SFStL. I figure, if I can't remember riding it, it shouldn't count, so I don't count it in my current track record (although it might be on the old one that's maintained here at CB...which is missing 11 coasters that I've ridden new this year.)

Yes! I KNEW that I was at Hersheypark when I was 9 or 10 yeard old. I remember riding Sooperdooperlooper and Comet, but I could not for the life of me remember if I had ridden Trailblazer or not. I thought that I must have, because it was the tamest coaster of all three.

I just rode it this May, so NOW I'm sure that I have ridden it. But I still am unsure about the trip 20 years ago.

Wow, Soggy. Almost the exact same story. Except I was 13 or 14 at the time. Remeber the looper. Remeber NOT riding comet or sidewinder. Can't remember for the life of me if I rode Trailblazer at the time. But I'm pretty sure I did.
I can't remember if I rode the corkscrew at BOBLO Island (forgot the name of it, it is not even listed with the park). However, I know I rode Silver Streak and Nightmare...

Also, I cannot remember all the coasters I rode at PCW, or any other park I visited when I was younger.

Boblo's corkscrew was named the Screamer, if I recall correctly.

I have no memory of riding the mine ride at CP. Only since reading about it here, do I recall it even being there...

Yeah. I can't remember if I've ridden Spacely Sprocket's Rocket @ SFGAm (the kiddie coaster). I think I put it in my track record anyway. Not really a big deal though ;)

The coaster on Boblo Island was called Silver Streak.

I remember the coasters I've been on because after the Flying Dragon at Walled Lake (which I remember because it scared me to death), I stayed away from coasters until I was in my teens.

I do have trouble remembering details from some coasters that I only rode once. Like Soul Train from Edgewater Park.

I'm still having problems with Magic Harbor in MB.

I know the corkscrew was removed before I visited in "82 but there was a coaster or two there that I rode.

This would put me at 196 or 196 instead of my defenite 195 that I know I have ridden for sure.

Visit rcdb and type in the park for coasters and past coasters at the parks. Of course I have a few that I suppose very few hear have ridden. The giant Mad mouse at Fantasy Farm and Shiff coaster also at Fantasy farm. The Bat and a few others that were either short lived or at unknown parks.

No, there was also a Vekoma 'screw there at one time that looked an awful lot like the one at MA....so much so it almost brought a nostalgic tear to my eye.

The Soul Train got away from me, tho....I finally mustered the nerve to get in line during one of the Ford Motor Company picnics, but the park closed b4 I got on board. No CF ride policy in that park.

Can anyone remember what the Edgewater coaster was called before it got its infamous final moniker? Even at 7-8 years old, I know for a fact it had another name first.

At Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, I went on Kumba, but I cant remember anything about it. I dont remember the line, the station, the trains, the resraints, the lift hill, the inversions, or the ride. I have no memory of it what-so-ever, but I do know that I rode it.

I'm FAIRLY sure that I rode MindBender @ SFoG when I went there in 1994. I mean, I remember riding like Ninja, OrGASM, Freefall, etc. so if it was open, I'm sure I rode it. But I really dont remember it.

My mom swears up and down that I rode the Screechin' Eagle (not sure if that was it's name at the time) at LeSourdesville when I was a kid back in the early 70's, but I can't for the life of me remember it. Heck, I used to always be afraid to go on it because I heard horror stories about people flying out of their seats on it. Must have great air time.
